“September 2023-Don't miss this small local place for great food. There is limited parking but within walking distance of street parking. They have a large bar and booth seating. We didn't have to wait long since it was off season. We both began with the clam chowder. The clams were shredded which we had never had and it made the chowder lovely. Best we had on our vacation. I got the a cod fish Reuben on grilled marble rye bread. It had thousand island dressing and was served with coleslaw and skin on fries. Their dill pickles were homemade. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese with tater tots. It's served with brown gravy to dip the sandwich in. The sandwich was overloaded with brisket, so very filling. Service was great.”

Food came out really fast, despite how busy they were (30 minute wait on Sunday morning) The waitress was very friendly. It has such a cozy atmosphere, like you're in a New Hampshire log cabin!”

“We have passed by this place a number of times and never went in. I will not pass it again. first off the beet salad and Caesar salad were wonderful. Very fresh, unique with the salad having pistachios, and the Caesar salad having these great flat croutons. Very tasty.. we ordered the margarita pizza as it was good Friday. This was exceptional with a very crispy thin crust. They had a special on a German chocolate cake which we decided to share. This was exceptional. I hope they put this on the menu as a regular. The coconut was enhanced with sea salt and caramel which made it extra special. The staff was very attentive, the atmosphere is kind of special. A mix between art deco, and 60s vibe. Very unique. Don’t pass by this place.”

“I was having a bad night and this restaurant completely turned everything around for me. Starting with the Hostess who was engaging, funny and very invested in making sure we got a seat. We had a reservation but we arrived 45 minutes early. The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. There is a pleasant chatter in the restaurant from everyone having a nice time, but it is not so loud that you can't hear everyone at your table. The staff is unsurpassed. Our waitress in particular made our night.(Ashley M) She was hilarious and thought we were fun too. (Always a good feeling!) Now for the food... We started with a fresh, delicious Caesar Salad. Followed by incredible Chicken Parm with the most delicious red sauce! We wrapped up our evening with a hugh, delicious piece of chocolate cake and Vanilla Bean Gelato. We WILL be back again and again. I regret that I waited this long to try Strega!”

Food is mixed bag; clam chowder & stuffed sole meal were great, my cousin ate everything but the turkey on the turkey meal saying it didn’t taste right.….as a Gluten Free diner there are very few options other than salads. I ended up with a bacon wrapped scallops appetizer @ $22 for 5, & had to pay $$ for sides of asparagus & potatoes.The raw oysters were fresh, but were served with sauces in PLASTIC CONTAINERS. I highly recommend the cider donut holes and the duck! The clam chowder is a neat "disassembly" of typical New England chowder, with bacon and fried clams and potato served over/in a bowl of chowder proper. It could easily be a small meal unto itself. It's clear the chef had fun with that one!Staff were friendly and welcoming. Reservations were easy to make. It's clear the Tavern is lovingly kept.The road leading to it is heinous, so drive carefully. There are more potholes and bumps in that road than a Boston street after a whole winter of plowing.Parking: Dirt and gravel lot, plenty of room for the size of the restaurant.”

We had the cod special and crispy fried statler chicken breast. Both of the dishes were so delicious and made so creatively! The wine list was wonderful and the desserts were delicious as well. “We used Cupcake Charlies for our July 2023 Wedding. The cupcakes were delicious and the service was great! Our guests loved the cupcakes and raved about them for days after the wedding. We enjoyed our tasting with them at the Plymouth Location- the staff answered all of our questions and worked with us throughout the process. We were able to rent a cupcake stand from them and add on delivery to the venue for a small fee. Everything was seamless. We love going back and visiting for more cupcakes!”

“I first tried Sweet Sense products for Thanksgiving. What a treat! The cake was delicious & the pumpkin bread was fabulous. Nice & moist. I've been gluten free for 15 years (Celiac) and these are definitely the best desserts I've found. Highly recommend!!!”

“Went to Mamma Mia's in the Pinehills after taking our granddaughter to see Santa and it was an excellent end to our day. We sat in the bar area and the service was outstanding. Both my wife and I ordered saltimbocca (me veal, her chicken). The food was delicious and the portions big enough that we each had a second meal left! The bartender was efficient and accurate in our order. She checked on us several times to make sure all our needs were taken care of. My wife had a martini and said it was well made.Parking: Not sure of number of spots but we had no problem finding parking on a Saturday afternoon.”

Not all Dunkin's are created equal, but let me tell you, this drive-through Dunkin' located beside a Mobil gas station that also serves amazing pizza slices is the absolute best in the area! Unfortunately, it's currently closed for renovations, and I have to travel further to get my daily dose of a well-toasted bagel with cream cheese. And let me tell you, it's been a disaster! But the staff at this Dunkin' are consistently excellent, accommodating, and simply delightful. They make me feel welcome and happy every time I pull up to the drive-through with my mobile order, even if I arrive after an unreasonable amount of time. In comparison, other Dunkin' locations in Plymouth and Kingston just don't measure up. Their staff doesn't understand what well-toasted means, and they seem to want me to get into a terrible accident while attempting to open a cream cheese packet. Come on, Plymouth and Kingston Dunkin's, step up your game and take a cue from this amazing Dunkin'!”

The breakfast menu is huge and we went with the Benedict’s, one traditionaland another with spinach (Benedict Florentine). Both dishes were really well portioned. The potato fries were a little hard for my taste, but the English muffin was perfect. The orange wedge was a nice touch. Our server, Pamela, was friendly and fast. It was worth trying out.”

We were lucky enough to be looking for Thai food and seeing this restaurant pop up. The food is authentic Thai made by the owners. I had the Tom Yum Soup chicken and it is the best one I have had in my life. The others were Panang curry, Beef Boat Noodle soup and Basil Pad Thai. If the pictures are so good imagine how good the flavors would be. Wish I lived close by so I could eat there every night.”

Now im not sure if my taste and smell are off today but i kept getting a nutty smell and a little taste. The calamari was Perfectly flash fried with just the right amount of crunch along with the cherry peppers giving it the right amount of spice layed on a bed of marinara sauce, was AMAZING. I ended up getting the braised short rib. It was succulent down to the very last bite. Tender, juicy, and just a hearty meal all around. Braised rib on a bed of mash potatoes and broccolini was the perfect meal and could have never chosen a better establishment to dine at. This was my first time and certainly not my last.! My filet was cooked perfectly, my husband loved the orange bourbon sauce on his Giant pork chop and our friends devoured their salmon atop an Amazing crab/shrimp/wasabi rice. “Went to Mamma Mia's in Marshfield tonight. The restaurant was closed but the bar was packed. Got a seat at the bar and could not believe what I was watching. There was a young girl named kira behind the bar not only was she the bartender but she was the bar back she was the hostess, the waitress, the server, the the bus girl, the Keno there was nothing she didn't do well maybe except for cook but she did it all at a hundred miles an hour and everything she did was 100% right drinks were right, food was right, she was right on time, nobody had to wait she was an amazing amazing server/bartender and I just wanted to say I think she was great! Also have to say she kept every single person happy. It was amazing to watch her work and I think any employer would be happy to have 10 more of her!”

“Restaurant staff are great,they are on their game. Bar staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their drinks,wish they didn't measure their pours. I love that they offer gift cards for charity that help children and different other needs. Food to go is expedited very fast,just check your orders before you leave, sometimes things are forgotten. We only had cocktails which were made by Morgan and they were so tasty, I highly recomment the dirty Martini!! Although it was extremely busy we never had to wait for a refill and Morgan was by far one of the hardest working bartenders I have ever seen. She literally was running the bar solo and was absolutely crushing it.”
