“September 2023-Don't miss this small local place for great food. There is limited parking but within walking distance of street parking. They have a large bar and booth seating. We didn't have to wait long since it was off season. We both began with the clam chowder. The clams were shredded which we had never had and it made the chowder lovely. Best we had on our vacation. I got the a cod fish Reuben on grilled marble rye bread. It had thousand island dressing and was served with coleslaw and skin on fries. Their dill pickles were homemade. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese with tater tots. It's served with brown gravy to dip the sandwich in. The sandwich was overloaded with brisket, so very filling. Service was great.“
“The seafood platter for two was awesome had that yesterday. Today had the whole belly clam roll and the hot buttered lobster roll. Both were great but I think the cold mayo lobster roll is better. Now back to Ky and no seafood but I will return next year snd dine here again.“
“I used to go here with my fiancé of 13 years. The food is good. I would recommend this place. I’ve been in Plymouth for about 10 years. I met my fiancé and when he lived in Plymouth, that’s when I started living around there. I also like the waterfront and the idea that they got a lot of restaurants on the waterfront I do enjoy looking out towards the water while eating, I find it very peaceful but I do recommend this place thank you“
“For local ambiance and well-prepared seafood, head to 42° North. Great dishes (and you need a good appetite as the portions are quite generous) are the Atlantic Cioppino, with a really well made tomato broth and variety of shellfish and fish, and the Barcelonan Seafood Paella, also with a rich tomato sauce. They could have better wines and also they lack draft beers and ales, which is the reason I only give them a "4" rating. Go for the food, not the dinner beverages! And, oh, the melted chocolate cake dessert we shared amongst 4 of us - it's also plenty big.“
“Really incredible atmosphere, food, service and right on the beach in Plymouth, Ma. Enjoy the lunch, dinner and cocktails while relaxing and dining on great, reasonably priced exceptional food! Try it, you won’t be dissappointed!! Love it❤️?“
“Great local restaurant and great deal. WALK TO THE EAST END OF THE RESTAURANT. During a weekday, the other doors were locked. We lucked out and came on 50 cent wing day. Shanty rub is the best choice for wings. They get the skin on the wings perfectly crispy. Awesome place to come from a boat, as you can see the docks. Staff was wonderful.“
“Arrived relatively early on a Saturday morning, 9am. The restaurant was half full already and we took it as a good sign. The breakfast menu is huge and we went with the Benedict’s, one traditionaland another with spinach (Benedict Florentine). Both dishes were really well portioned. The potato fries were a little hard for my taste, but the English muffin was perfect. The orange wedge was a nice touch. Our server, Pamela, was friendly and fast. It was worth trying out.“
“Authentic Beautiful Thai flavors Wonderful Caring Hosts Original Family Run business Child Friendly Yet Ethnic flavors. Great location on the way to Cape Cod. We were lucky enough to be looking for Thai food and seeing this restaurant pop up. The food is authentic Thai made by the owners. I had the Tom Yum Soup chicken and it is the best one I have had in my life. The others were Panang curry, Beef Boat Noodle soup and Basil Pad Thai. If the pictures are so good imagine how good the flavors would be. Wish I lived close by so I could eat there every night.“
“We often meet friends here as its a good half way point. Service is always good. Food is mixed bag; clam chowder & stuffed sole meal were great, my cousin ate everything but the turkey on the turkey meal saying it didn’t taste right.….as a Gluten Free diner there are very few options other than salads. I ended up with a bacon wrapped scallops appetizer @ $22 for 5, & had to pay $$ for sides of asparagus & potatoes. The raw oysters were fresh, but were served with sauces in PLASTIC CONTAINERS. Head scratcher when one looks at the environmental waste & impact on ocean life, especially for a seafood restaurantMAKE RESERVATIONS!Parking: Always difficult during tourist season. Off season there is free self parking and valet parking in front of restaurant“
“Nice little country stoah with some great lobstah rolls, sandwiches, ice creams, coffees, etc. One of the nicest pahts was the grassy picnic areah behind the stoah wheah you could sit in a comfy Adirondack chaiah and eat ya lobstah roll. Definitely recommend if you ah passing thru the Plymouth areah.“
“I have been in the restaurant world 40 years owning numerous. I have loved fish n chips forever but could not find anyone who did it right until I found this gem by accident. The first time I was shocked by the amount of fresh cod perfectly fried and the fries and slaw was awesome. I wondered if they were consistent so I went back two weeks later. YES! OMG. Same amount of fish etc and perfect. So I went for lunch and got the fish sandwich.... YES. (so much cod). I went last week to try fresh cooked shrimp.... YES! So, consistency is spot on. Quantity spot on, quantity spot on. All I can say is go...today. To the owner: DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. Jay Johnson“
“Let me first say that it’s great to have a quality restaurant in Cedarville. Okay, the food:So I’ve ordered about a dozen times now. The pizza was nothing to brag about. But everything else I’ve ordered from here has been some of the tastiest, most delectable food I’ve had in a long time. I’m a clam chowder “snob” having lived on Cape Cod most of my life, and their chowder rivals some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Their buffalo wings and BBQ chicken tenders (the BBQ sauce especially) isn’t just “good,” it tastes amazing. Their burgers are delicious. Their loaded nachos are just that - loaded. And also delicious! What sets PPH apart for me though is the uniqueness of the taste of everything. I’ve never had chowder that tastes like this, never had BBQ sauce that tastes like this, etc. and by the time you’re in your mid 40s, it takes a lot for food to stand out to you, as by that time you’ve eaten a lot of food! There are little things that I could pick apart- pizza is a bit too greasy, the chicken can be a bit too tough sometimes- but these little things are nowhere near enough of a big deal for me to not give the food a STRONG 5 stars. So the service and the atmosphere both suffer from the same problem- around dinner time, this place is MOBBED. And I don’t just mean “busy,” I’m mean MOBBED. And that’s completely understandable given that the food is that good in a spot in town where there isn’t anything even close to the quality of PPH. As a DoorDash driver, I’m constantly in and out of here picking orders up, and when it’s busy, they’re often not ready on time, and sometimes by a good margin. And in the Covid era we live in, the waiting area is packed to the rafters with people. They do their best to accommodate with seats, but often the tiny waiting area is 20-30 people deep. And this is really my lone problem with PPH. And this problem is happening because this restaurant is just that damn good. The staff aren’t unkind or unknowledgeable or anything, they’re just absolutely swamped with things to do because of the volume of customers and orders, that sometimes it’s not the easiest to get someone’s attention. And sometimes some of them can get a bit agitated when being asked repeatedly where orders are. And I get it, it can’t not be stressful working there when it gets mobbed. But they’re going to have to both hire more staff soon, and/or make an addition to the waiting area, as the place continues to gain more and more customers, deservedly. In the end, the quality of the food completely trumps any atmosphere or service problems, which are completely derived from the fact that this is the best food in town, hands down.5 stars“
“Best clam chowder I have ever had! This is our 2nd year going for dinner at Cabby Shack. I had the clam chowder in their home made bread bowl and it was delicious. My husband and 3 girls loved their meals. We are definitely coming back again next year from NJ. Our waitress Erica was the best and gave us recommendations that we all loved - 10 stars for Erica!“
“I traveled from Norton, Ma to have their delicious Coconut Shrimp which I also had last summer on vacation. While I’m here enjoying that, I also ordered the Cauliflower Jerk Chicken Pizza. O. M. G. I am so glad I did. I will definitely be traveling again for not just the food but the Caribbean atmosphere on this cloudy gloomy winter day.Parking: Plenty available. Come and enjoy even if you live close by, pretend your a tourist.“
“I wasn't sure what to expect because the reviews were so varied but my breakfast was delicious and the service was friendly and impeccable. I got the breakfast tacos. The portion was extremely generous and came with tomato salsa and fruit salad. There seemed to be at least three eggs, with cheese and a corn salsa. I would highly recommend Cafe Nicole.“
“The owners & staff at Surfside Smokehouse created a special evening for our son & his fiance at their rehearsal dinner. Both families were united in a beautiful setting overlooking Plymouth Harbor. We received attentive, friendly, and on-schedule service, delicious food and perfect ambiance.Thank you so much!Robin & Ed Flynn“
“Absolutely Delicious! From the wonderful soft/buttery bread, fresh sushi, and yummy calamari to the Lucious molten lava cake, our experience was top notch. My filet was cooked perfectly, my husband loved the orange bourbon sauce on his Giant pork chop and our friends devoured their salmon atop an Amazing crab/shrimp/wasabi rice. Great service, Beautiful atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back! 10/10!“
“All around AMAZING. The service was great our server made sure our food was cooked to perfection and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Extremely good atmosphere for a 5pm dinner on a Thursday night. Now the food.! The calamari was Perfectly flash fried with just the right amount of crunch along with the cherry peppers giving it the right amount of spice layed on a bed of marinara sauce, was AMAZING. I ended up getting the braised short rib. It was succulent down to the very last bite. Tender, juicy, and just a hearty meal all around. Braised rib on a bed of mash potatoes and broccolini was the perfect meal and could have never chosen a better establishment to dine at. This was my first time and certainly not my last.! Two Thumbs Up“
“We went out for a Valentines dinner, and it was great! This was our first time here, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The service was impeccable (shoutout to Craig!), the portions were great, and the food was very yummy. We will definitely be back!“
