Cozy, warm, and friendly. The menu changes with the seasons, but they always try to keep it locally sourced. During the growing season they have incredible gardens right outside the place where they grow a lot of their produce, herbs, and greens. The outdoor dining and bar in the warmer weather are welcoming and the igloos in the colder months are a special treat.
Travellers, this very old restaurant down a bumpy dirt road in Plymouth ma is an amazing farm to table experience. Everything was delicious and service is with a smile. The atmosphere is charming. The menu is diverse and hits all the right notes for a great continental American restaurant. This fantastic meal does not come cheap so prepare to spend money. It is worth the experience. Best food I've had in a long time. Excellent from start to finish, great wine list too. Restaurant is clean and rustic, few frills but had an antique charm to it. I highly recommend the cider donut holes and the duck! The clam chowder is a neat "disassembly" of typical New England chowder, with bacon and fried clams and potato served over/in a bowl of chowder proper. It could easily be a small meal unto itself.
