I am so disappointed in my recent stay at Mirbeau. I’ve frequented the bistro, day spa, and have stayed at the property multiple times over the past 10 years. My best friend and I book an annual trip for a night away and always choose Mirbeau. I do not think we will be going back after our experience this past week. The staff were unwelcoming, rude and at times insulting. My treatment at the spa started late and ended early. The massage itself was mediocre. And the “gift”...read full review
I spent 3 amazing nights, solo, at Mirbeau Plymouth in November. I desperately needed a reset after an stress-filled year and researched places in the area and Mirbeau seemed perfect - not too far, beautiful rooms and SERENITY! The soaking tub was so relaxing. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Outdoor hot tub was great! I’m already planning my next visit!
Sorry in advance for the length of this review. I have been to this spa twice now but have not stayed so I cannot rate the rooms. The grounds inside and out are beautiful. The Bistro & Wine Bar at Mirbeau offers a delightful dining experience with a mix of hits and misses. The French onion soup may lack in flavor, but the tomato bisque is a hit. The lobster ravioli is described as phenomenal, earning a perfect 10 out of 10. However, the Filet Mignon can be overcooked, despite being ordered medium. The desserts are fresh and delicious, paired perfectly with a Cappuccino and dessert wine. The restaurant is praised for its delicious food, perfect cooking, and charming atmosphere, making it a great spot for French cuisine overlooking the Monet gardens or by the fireplace. The staff is attentive and responsive to dietary restrictions. Overall, a recommended dining destination with an 8 out of 10 rating.
The Bistro & Wine Bar at Mirbeau has received positive reviews, with customers describing the scallops and Chilean sea bass as perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The "crookie" - a decadent combination of croissant, chocolate chip cookie, and ice cream - is a popular dessert. The service is praised as top-notch, and the drinks are impressive. The restaurant also offers a beautiful setting and a memorable experience.
