“What a great little spot! Lots of home cooked options - warm, refrigerated, and frozen. We both had the turkey dinner and it was excellent. There’s a wide selection to choose from - ribs, turkey, soup, cakes, and more. There is also a nice seating area inside should you choose to eat inside.”

“I can tell from the other reviews the food here is a matter of preference. I don't know what traditional pad Thai is suppose to taste like exactly, but I do agree Star of Siam's pad Thai is very sweet. I went with only medium heat as I was afraid "hot" would blow my face off, but instead it wasn't particularly hot at all. My understanding is real pad Thai would be pretty spicy. Anyways, I really liked the chicken pad thai. The crab Rangoons had a couple of duds, meaning the filling was missing and all I got was a fried wonton. I'll definitely check out their other menu items.”

“Marylou's is a great place to get your caffeine fix in a fun, local spot. There are multiple locations. This one is located off state and has a convenient drive thru.The menu offers lots of coffee options: hot. iced, and frozen/blended. Some good items if you're hungry too!”

I did try their clam chowder, and let me tell you, I went back for seconds a week later! It's gotta be the best chowder on the South Shore, no doubt! It's got more flavor and body than the usual Plymouth-area waterfront spots. And those fish tacos are seriously yummy. I scarfed mine down so fast, I forgot to snap a pic! The staff is super cool and passionate about what they do. The place itself has a chill vibe with smooth jazz, veined marble, corrugated metal, distressed wood, and cozy leather. It's a bummer I won't have a regular excuse to go back to this part of Duxbury now that winter sports clinics are winding down!”

“Our server was very nice, but they don’t tell you there’s a 10% “admin fee” for the kitchen workers share of tip? not sure why you don’t just pay your workers more, but that’s besides the point. The view is fantastic, but the pricing for the quality of the food here is interesting... Roughly $60 for what is essentially just a subpar Alaskan Roll and 8 (sandy) oysters. Expected better from the high ratings, but it might be outdated. Probably won’t be coming back.”

“We were in Plymouth for lunch and this place showed up as one of the top seafood restaurants. It turned out this wasn't really a seafood restaurant and more like a New England pub which was a pleasant surprise.Though there wasn't much seafood on the menu we ended up ordering three seafood dishes, Clam Chowder, Risotto with Shrimp & Scallops and Portuguese Cod. I did not like the Clam Chowder because it was unusually sour but my wife liked the change. However the Risotto and Portuguese Codwere excellent, far exceeding our expectations. ?The restaurant is popular, so be prepared for a bustling environment. Unfortunately, our payment experience wasn't ideal - there seemed to be some confusion with newer payment methods. Overall, we'd still recommend it for the food.”

Never seen anything like it. We had to have an argument with her in order to be put at one of 3 open tables for 4.I hope that gets fixed because the food and service is very good.Parking: Parking is ok with valet.”

“Cozy atmosphere with plenty of wines to try - all different sizes & types at various prices. It's a cool concept! The wine is self-serve & you pay your tab on your way out. The food menu is small - you can build your own charcuterie board as well as choose from a few flatbreads or chips with dip. I found there to be plenty of decent snacking options for wine sipping. They even have a dessert menu! Highly recommend checking out some of the events they host on Mondays. My first visit was when they had candlemaking & it was a great time!”

The owner, Dawn, is beyond accommodating & kind, and the employees are super attentive. I would highly recommend SoBol to anyone visiting town, and Duxbury residents should make this a daily stop.Dietary restrictions: They take special care of those with any and all restrictions. I’ve even seen them remake a bowl because a customer forgot to mention an allergy while ordering. Superb customer service.Kid-friendliness: Kids are most definitely welcome and are regulars, too!”

“We used Cupcake Charlies for our July 2023 Wedding. The cupcakes were delicious and the service was great! Our guests loved the cupcakes and raved about them for days after the wedding. We enjoyed our tasting with them at the Plymouth Location- the staff answered all of our questions and worked with us throughout the process. We were able to rent a cupcake stand from them and add on delivery to the venue for a small fee. Everything was seamless. We love going back and visiting for more cupcakes!”

“Food was yummy & fast. Little on the expensive side, if your planning on drinking (per usual). For just 3 sandwiches it was $18, the 3 alcoholic drinks totaled $60. I will say the two bloody Mary's came with shrimp, olives, bacon & celery. Would definitely visit again?”
