“Before I went to Bo Cafe I was in shambles, there was something missing from my life, and I didn’t know what it was. One day, I wanted to try a new restaurant that was Mediterranean. Lo and behold Bo Cafe was recommended. My boi Arthur hooked me up with his famous chicken Shawarma. Truly life changing. The juices and the chicken along with the crunchy greens worked together like prime Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Also, he has so many unique snacks and delectable sweets. Arthur and his wife run this function with passion and purpose. This restaurant attracts all kind of people with the same goals: to eat good food. “got the omelette special, omelette, cornbread, homefries, and got coffee. waitress was super nice and kept the coffee coming, very welcoming establishment. i understand why they have a line! place is very cute and homely, they even have real coca cola barstools! barstools arent for the faint of heart but it was nice to sit and read and enjoy some coffee“

“My mother in law had a ratatouille style transcendent experience with the tom khar gal soup. Everyone else at the table similarly agreed their food was top tier, excellent. Service was attentive and prompt, and the dining area was beautiful and small enough to feel pretty intimate too. Only knocking off one star because one of the seasonal drink specials was a pumpkin spice chai tea which turned out to be just a Stash brand tea bag that you can buy at the grocery store, nothing special or added. That was disappointing but everything else was fantastic and I will definitely go back.“

“I tried the Venus Cafe for the first time today for takeout. I ordered a green pepper onion and mushroom pizza. I got there early and got it as soon as he popped it into the box, so there was no time for it to steam in the box. I usually have my dog with me, so that's why I get take-out a lot. A little bit of flop at the beginning due to it being piping hot and loaded with toppings. Tasted great, and the price was good. This place is one of the goats of this style of pizza, ssbp. The only complaint is that they use sliced toppings, not chopped. And that's just a personal preference due to years of thinking I took a clean bite of pizza, and then a chunk of blistering topping comes with it and tags me on the chin. Lol. I went to the takeout side and dealt directly with the cook, and he was very nice. I have no clue about the bar area, but friendly kitchen staff speaks volumes for a place. I'm slowly trying all the places that do this style of pizza in the area, and this one did not disappoint.“

“Our server was very nice, but they don’t tell you there’s a 10% “admin fee” for the kitchen workers share of tip? not sure why you don’t just pay your workers more, but that’s besides the point. The view is fantastic, but the pricing for the quality of the food here is interesting... Roughly $60 for what is essentially just a subpar Alaskan Roll and 8 (sandy) oysters. Expected better from the high ratings, but it might be outdated. Probably won’t be coming back.“

“We had a wonderful time at Barrell Z House this past Saturday. Our bartender, dressed in Germany garb for Oktoberfest, was so friendly and helpful. We had our little dog Ella with us and was made to feel welcome. Our bartender even brought us a fresh bowl of water for her. We got some delicious sirloin sliders for us and doggie biscuits with PB for Ella from the food truck. My husband and I enjoyed the IPA. We tasted two different types, one more fruity and aroma, the other more hoppy. We’re hop heads and both agreed that the more hoppy one was our fav! We have ate a lot of pho in our day and this spot ranks in the top 10 pho spots we have eaten at. 10/10 recommend getting the Nguyen special pho and the oxtail pho. The meatloaf had a fig glaze on it. I thought it might be too sweet but it wasn't. The mashed potatoes and green beans were cooked perfectly! The bolognese had a flavorful sauce not acidic and plenty of meat in the sauce. Would definitely order this again. Absolutely delicious!“
