I’m super bummed. I’ve been going to Island Creek since it was just a food truck. Always bring out of town guests. Come to find out today that the menu has changed to the point of being unrecognizable. Of course the oysters are on point, but the rest of the food was not good. They don’t have any of the old favorites (clam dip? muscles?) and my kid’s hot dog was cold. It’s a beautiful view but if you’re headed down, maybe just get drinks and oysters and don’t expect much more.

First time here and i think I got over charge for one person and total cost of $103 including tip. 12 dozen of oyster, pickled mussels, glass of wine and extra bread. The food options is not a lot but the service was good. I don’t think I’m coming back.

We love Island Creek and their product, but the our experience at the indoor raw bar was less than stellar. The music was very loud and getting louder (people kept moving away from the speakers as the DJ was shouting the answers to single bingo). The seat yourself situation was confusing and we didn’t see a server for 30 min. The place is full of young families trying to enjoy a relaxed meal and drinks but it seems like they are trying to cater to more of a bar vibe with the screaming DJ and blasting music. Love the oysters and food.

Our server was very nice, but they don’t tell you there’s a 10% “admin fee” for the kitchen workers share of tip? not sure why you don’t just pay your workers more, but that’s besides the point. The view is fantastic, but the pricing for the quality of the food here is interesting... Roughly $60 for what is essentially just a subpar Alaskan Roll and 8 (sandy) oysters. Expected better from the high ratings, but it might be outdated. Probably won’t be coming back.

Had the best time here - highly recommend if you're an oyster fan. Well worth it! Will be back.

2nd time I’ve orders from here. It’s amazing. Feels like I’m back east when I can just open my bag and shuck an oyster. Thank you for a great product.

Almost everything is good here except the civiche which is the worst I've ever had and for $18, you don't get much. The clam chip and dip was actually good for $10.

Amazing experience for anyone who loves science and oysters (or at least one of the two). We signed up for their tour, we went a couple weeks ago now, our tour was a reschedule due to weather and wow did we look out with the weather that day! The first half is a tour through the oyster nursery showing the process of spawning little baby oysters before they can be brought outside and then eventually out into the ocean to grow on the oyster farm. Then we got to go out on a boat and get tour of the oyster farms and hear some more history about how Island Creek started and has grown. The captain and first mate were extremely knowledgable friendly and made the boat ride super fun. The best part, unlimited fresh oysters for the entire boat ride! If you love oysters this tour is a must!

Terrific seafood, ordinary hotdog. Lovely, unique setting, apart from the flies and mosquitos. (Early August visit.)

Parking can be a nightmare on a busy day but it's worth it. Great spot.

Coolest oyster bar I've ever been to. Great service and the atmosphere is great. If you want some on the water fun, do the farm tours!

Swung by here for lunch on my back to Boston from Cape Cod after a brief visit at Plymouth and was not disappointed. It was virtually empty as they had just opened, and had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available - we sat outside near the water as the weather was perfect. We ordered a bunch of oysters which were fresh and amazing. We also had the pretzel, capris salad, and several beers (they had a great variety on draft) which were good. Servers were nice and friendly. I'll definitely swing by this place in the future if I'm near by and would strongly recommend you do too!

Such a great spot for anyone! Nice and causal for families with small children, couples, young friends, and retired. Does not matter, it's perfect for all! They have a bar to grab a beer or cocktail and a second area to order food including hot dogs and oysters.

Overpriced and food was meh. Small portions, somewhat ridiculous in some cases for what they charge.

This review is for the farm tour:Hatchery guide, Angela: I love this woman. You get a oyster hatchery tour by a marine biologist! She was so informative and funny. I loved seeing all the equipment and learning about raising oysters.Boat crew, Alana and Christopher: After the tour at the hatchery, you get on a boat with the other tour participants and two staff members. Alana, kept my tummy happy with the endless oysters she kept shucking. Thank you, Christopher for pulling up the bay map and explain where we are and where oyster farming happens.On-Site Experience Coordinator, Karla: This person answered ALL MY QUESTIONS. Thank you.Note: When you buy your tickets online, you will see a fee of about $10/pp. It is the website charging you, just like StubHub, ticketmaster, etc. FYI. You can tip online or in person.I know the tour is pricey, but if you can afford it, it is a wonderful experience. Otherwise, just visit the raw bar and enjoy the patio.
