We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. We are glad we chose the Fairview Restaurant. The Fairview is a family style restaurant with great environment and space. The food was amazingly delicious and very well served. Dessert was delicious. Our waitress was excellent. Everything she recommended was just perfect. The kid’s menu was excellent with lots of choices.
More informal than I expected from a restaurant with white tablecloths. It was quiet (at 5:30, when we arrived, but the noise level increased as more diners arrived. The clam chowder didn't look or taste traditional at all: it included a whole deep-fried clam and half slice of bacon as garnishes. Didn't look or taste right. I ate only half of the cup. The broiled scallops were flavorless, with a bread crumb topping that didn't improve the dish. My wife liked her...
Good location and a varied selection on menu. Soup wasn't what I had envisioned when ordering. Steak I ordered was very good, just wish the sauce was thicker. Dessert might have been the best course as it was fresh and tasty. Friendly staff.
