Saga Hibachi Reviews
I had the luncheon special Bento (Shrimp tempura (2) with vegetables, rice, shumai (3)California roll (6) miso soup and salad. I think it was as good and filling as my favorite at New Tokyo in Plymouth, but more convenient. Waiter was attentive and good! Based on this, I recommend highly.
Awesome food; very reasonably priced; and outstanding customer service from the friendly staff!
Decent night - but long wait. We made a reservation, but we showed 15 minutes late, and they gave it away (understandably). With toddlers and infants in tow, we wish they had been a little more accommodating. Even after seated, it took the kitchen a long while to prepare the trays and put out the hibachi appetizers. Saga Hibachi is a restaurant that offers a fun and lively dining experience, especially for celebrations. The food is described as delicious and fresh, with mentions of the luncheon special Bento, clear soup, hibachi lobster, spicy seaweed crab salad, fried calamari, steak, and shrimp. The hibachi rice includes egg and yum yum sauce. The staff are accommodating, pleasant, and attentive, going above and beyond for birthdays with balloon hats, a birthday crown, a singing boom box, and a dessert. The environment is enjoyable with ambient music, subtle red lighting, and decorations that shine at night. However, there can be a long wait, even with a reservation, and the kitchen may take a while to prepare trays and hibachi appetizers. The restaurant does not offer a tofu or unique vegetable combination for vegetarians. Chicken can be dry, and cocktails are juice-heavy. Overall, it is recommended.
