Had high hopes for the food but will only be back for the ice cream. Ice cream was great, got Reese’s peanut butter cup. The big chunks of peanut butter cups were so good! And you get a huge portion of the ice cream.
Food didn’t really have any flavor. Got the clam balls and chowder. Only tasted breading in the balls.

The best chowder and fried seafood in the area. The chowder is truly authentic. Very clam broth forward not wallpaper paste! The fried scallops, whole belly clams and haddock are always cooked to perfection. The batter is light, letting the taste of the seafood shine through. I also appreciate that the tarter sauce and coleslaw are always freshly prepared and savory not sweet. The picnic tables are a casual spot to eat and the service is always helpful and polite.
