Dinner in a historic building and historic bay front neighborhood was beautiful with the sun setting! Tuesday 6pm reservation wasn't a sold out night which was very nice and relaxing while looking at the antique interior design. Hostess and waitress came to my guest and I quickly. Wait staff service was very timely and efficient. We ordered seafood entrees of Apricot Salmon and Haddock Dijonnaise. Entree presentation was very professional, unique and delicious! We were very impressed eating our first dinner there! We highly recommend and also look forward to more reservations at The Inn on Shipyard Park. 👍👍

Always a great dining experience. It was a bit quieter after the Labor Day holiday, but still an energetic crowd. We asked to be moved from the main dining area to the other room because the band was getting set up and we have found that to be a bit too noisy for us ( old people ) and they graciously let us sit there instead. The drinks are always creative and refreshing. No appetizer this time, but the entrees were excellent ( husband had the salmon and I had the broccoli "steak" with farro ) and dessert was just the right amount to share.

Great late summer evening experience on the porch. Everyone enjoyed their meals and their cocktails. Loved the atmosphere and waterfront views of the harbor.

Very recommended. A nice, clean, fun, very friendly restaurant in Mattapoisett. Very nice selection of food and beverages.

Excellent service from Avery. Haddock dish excellent but lobter rolls were disappointing, overally chopped meat and heavily dressed.

We have been going to the Inn for years and always loved it. Last night was outstanding- the food was incredibly, service was great. My swordfish with pesto was incredible, and everyone else at the table of seven raved about their food. I do wonder if there is an issue with the online booking because it said there were no reservations until 7:30 but when we got there there were dozens of tables available. I'd hate for diners to go elsewhere due to this!

Great opportunity to dine casually with the ambiance of an old New England shipbuilding town and associated harbor views (Mattapoisett MA). Great menu with a diversity of options. Indoor or porch seating, both with views.

As always, Food was delicious. Pulled Pork Panini for me and the Broccoli steak with farro pilaf and sweet potato puree for my wife. Service was great!

The smash burger was awful but pickle was good. Great fish and chips. Waiter was attentive.

The only reason we did not rate the evening higher last night was the appetizer for a dozen oysters at $42.00 was a little pricey for the size of them.

Our dining experience was impeccable! We reserved a very nice table on the outdoor porch. Fabulous views of Mattapoisett harbor and scenic surrounding historic homes. Our server Bridget was wonderful! Highly recommend Inn on Shipyard Park.

Outside seating area is nice so if you're looking for a quick lunch this is ok. We sat in the main dining area, which looks like a pub and is a little dark and dated. Ordered mussels for an appetizer, and unfortunately, they were full of sand which they did remove from our bill. The only plus was the wait staff who was very nice and efficient. Overall, not a good experience and I don't think I will return .

Busy and noisy Lobster rolls were very good. nice place to meet on way toor from the cape.

A delightful little place close to the Mattapoisett Rail Trail. Eat on the porch, it was cooler there with a breeze than inside with the AC. Good portions at average prices.

Beautiful spot to eat on the porch. Excellent service. Good selection. I had scallops with my ceasar salad. Sadly they were overcooked. But everything else was terrific.
