A 4.5 rounded up for their authentic dishes. The low reviews may reflect folks who are expecting Americanized Chinese food like General Gao’s, crab rangoon, brown colored fried rice and so on. Service and atmosphere are what you’d normally expect from an authentic Chinese food restaurant. Not bad, but nothing impressive either. That said, the food is easily the best Sichuan food in town around the greater Boston area, in my opinion! It’s so good that it overweighs the four star I give on service and atmosphere, resulting in an overall five star review. Highly recommend!!!
Very authentic Sichuan cuisine. The chili soup base is great!! Good portion overall for three people. The beef and pork intestines are very tender. Very good plating and nice services. Even the fried peanuts in the sour spicy glass noodle taste great. Will definitely comeback for next time. I will try the duck meat.
