A 4.5 rounded up for their authentic dishes. The low reviews may reflect folks who are expecting Americanized Chinese food like General Gao’s, crab rangoon, brown colored fried rice and so on. But this restaurant is serving authentic Sichuan food from southwestern China which exemplifies bold, pungent and spicy in your face flavors. Service and atmosphere are what you’d normally expect from an authentic Chinese food restaurant. Not bad, but nothing impressive either. That said, the food is easily the best Sichuan food in town around the greater Boston area, in my opinion! It’s so good that it overweighs the four star I give on service and atmosphere, resulting in an overall five star review. Highly recommend!!!

They were all absolutely incredible. The spicy Szechuan sauce was so flavorful. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could’ve eaten more dumplings.
