I am from Texas and have lived in Boston for 8 years now. If you are from the south, you know there is something about a donut shop down there that just is different from these shops in the NE. Well, I have FINALLY found my spot that reminds me of home. These donuts are FRESH, soft, chewy, perfectly sweet and just all around perfect donuts. I do not like cakey donuts. I do not like all these weird piled on flavors. Donuts with a Difference is spot on, perfect donuts.
This was one of the best donut shops I've been to in some time. I some how missed it when I lived in Meffa, bit that was probably better for my cholesterol and waistline. The donuts here are absolutely delicious. Very much on the traditional side, so don't expect to see fruity pebbles on top of them. I visited donuts with a difference this morning around 10:30 am. The woman at the counter was kind and patient. I was happy with my experience and expecting average to normal donuts from a local, no frills kind of place. These donuts far exceeded that expectation, they’re like nothing I have ever tried before.
