This was a great disappointment. For many years we have been eating in the original Hang Tai in Franklin. The food was always good, served hot and consistent. Tonight we discovered that it has permanently closed so tried the Medway location instead. I think they closed the wrong one! We had Szechuan spicy chicken (one of our favorites), which had no spice (despite specifying extra spicy) and was at least 50% celery which made the dish bitter tasting. The pork fried rice was overcooked to the point of being very dry and tasting burnt. But worst of all was the Peking roasted half duck. The skin was completely dried up and the meat wasn’t any more moist and the sauce was unremarkable, but to top it off it was served not with steamed handmade pancakes, with tortillas!!!

I gave three stars for service, not because the waitress was bad (she’s very pleasant), but because she was working alone and was run off her feet.

I’m very disappointed because the Franklin location was the only Chinese restaurant we enjoyed locally and now we have to find a new place.

The food is always hot and fresh.

Overpriced. Every time we order, they include the smallest container of duck sauce FOR MULTIPLE ORDERS. So we spent almost 50.00 for lunch and have about 1 ounce of duck sauce. The mini pupu platter is 17.95 now and has dried and overcooked food. It literally looks like leftovers.

Some of the best quality Chinese food in the area.

This is by far the best Chinese food in the area. I have not had a bad item on the menu. All the food is fresh, and cooked with real quality meat. The bartenders are great and friendly. The drinks are strong and good. Highly recommend.

The crispy orange beef was the absolute worst I've ever had. The meat was so tough, that it couldn't be chewed, and we ended up throwing it out, plus the broccoli it came with was raw!
