This is our local sushi restaurant and given the small size of town, it deserves its kudos just for being here.The sushi is OK, but often a hit or miss in freshness, I've had a few take-outs where the tuna did not taste great. Other times, it's nice. Consistent quality and a good choice for not having to drive half an hour for the better places.The Chinese food is OK, but there's a better place in Franklin.

I ordered the lunch special shrimp pad thai and miso soup. VERY PLEASED with the food and will definitely become a repeat customer. Great value and quality. The herbs were fresh, the shrimp was cooked perfectly & the sauce & noodles were flavorful. Soup was yummy. This was a takeout/pick up order, so I cannot speak with great detail about the service and atmosphere. However, the restaurant was clean, the online ordering was simple & easy, the person who handed me the order was polite, no complaints.

We were looking for all you can eat Sushi places and came across this one on the web. I called ahead and the person on phone confirmed the reservation for our requirement.On reaching, the person who was seating us, told us that they don't do all you can eat. When I told them we had already asked ahead, and have traveled quite some distance for it, another person at the front desk, probably the manager, seemed like he took the reservation, told us that we could do all we can eat and pay the agreed price.Food was excellent, sushi was fresh and well made. We went overboard with sushi, soup and dumplings; barely had any appetite left for the entrees. We tried a couple and they were excellent too. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every preparation and the prompt service.I would strongly recommend this place for their food, atmosphere was a bit dull though, maybe because it was a weekday.I am looking forward to visit again, and yes, definitely for an all you can eat if they allow!!

Waitresses try to take your plates before you finish. 5 of us were stuffed into one table with another family of 6, made for an uncomfortable meal.We got a different order of sushi than we had asked for, but still ate it. We ordered two take out meals and only received one (didn't know until we got home). Was disappointed this time around.

The takeout is even more impressive, as it's always delivered in a timely fashion, food is still warm, and even when reheated it's still delicious.I'm that guy who doesn't eat Thanksgiving food and ordered hibachi for dinner. They delivered with a smile and the food, yet again, was delicious. We ate with a party of 10 people on the sushi side of the restaurant for lunch. Service was excellent and the variety of Japanese dishes was both impressive as well as consistently good. We were able to sit for three hours without feeling rushed at all.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility was good.
We really enjoy the food at Yama Fugi, but we unfortunately ordered take out tonight and our order was supposed to be ready at 550. We arrived at 600, waited for our order with several check ins with the staff, and did not get our food until 645. We could have eaten at the restaurant and got our food faster. No explanation or apology.

i typically doordash, but when i do5 the dining experience is wonderful always! when doordashing, sometimes its a wait for the food but its worth every minute!!! i love the 2014 roll & their crab rangoons, those are a staple, go to lunch for me (occasionally im sharing it, not always lol) for their prices, the quality of sushi i awesome & every roll i've tried has always tasted fresh & full of flavor. if you havent been here yet, def make an order the next time you're craving good sushi.
