Skip's has always been a go to for my family, as its literally minutes away from my childhood home. We've walked there during my childhood. The food has remained pretty consistent throughout my life as far as my memory serves. A Merrimac institution. Best burger around? No, but not bad. Best fries or frappes? Nope, but again, not bad. Best place to get a burger and feel like you've stepped back 30 years? Absolutely. For the full effect eat in the orange linoleum cafeteria-inspired dining room or take your meal outside to the picnic tables.

This is a classic place LOVE there burgers and hotdogs. The fries need some seasoning to it but cooked well. We love sitting outside enjoying the large space and the car show always an amazing scene.
