I was in Twaithes across the street the other day and decided to go in on a whim. I saw the sign saying they had Caribbean food, and wanted to get some empanadas and tostones. The owner insisted I try some of the other food they had, and man was I glad I did. I didn't want to just take free food from him, but I couldn't resist. My kids raved about the rice and beans, and he also gave me some sort of slow cooked ribs. Holy hawk were they good. I grew up in Methuen, (went to Oakland Ave elementary school) but don't live that close anymore. Regardless, I'll be back, and I highly recommend the Caribbean food options. So good.

My overall experience was very unpleasant. I called for a in store pick and was told to wait 15 minutes of so. I arrive to the store and my order still wasn’t ready 30 minutes later. The line in store was long and many customers complained about their order not being ready.

Tremendous food, large portions, incredibly nice staff but the best part of going to Oakland Ave. Pizza was spending my money in a restaurant that constantly supports our homeless population in Lawrence. God Bless ?

I have been ordering from Oakland Pizza for many years, and I have never experienced such a salty pizza as the one I ordered this weekend. It was a horrific pizza, impossible to eat. I hope I can find better quality next time, as there are several other businesses in the area. However, I will still try to support local businesses in my neighborhood.Parking: not enough safe parking

Food was good the price was insane and im allset hopefully they find there staff but I was wired out the vibe was off or something like 74 dollers for 2pizza and wings and med chicken broccoli Alfredo and when I got there the price jumped ooh tax are not included allset ? ? almost 82 dollers that insane i should of went to pizza hut . Sorry not sorry it the truth way over priced for methuen edge lawrence border

I ordered a salad at 11:03am. The estimated delivery was half hour to 45 minutes. It arrived over an hour and half later. I didn't even get any cooked chicken or steak on it. My break was already over so I had to leave and purchase a bagel at dunkin donuts for something to eat. After it arrived, I realized the salad dressing I paid extra for was not in the bag. I planned on having the salad for dinner at this point. I called Oakland. They said they would send someone with the dressing. 12 minutes later they arrived and handed me a bag with dressing. There were two containers of Italian dressing, which was not what I ordered. I don't even like italian dressing. I didn't even bother calling back. I will never order from this place again.
