River Edge is a family-friendly restaurant that offers delicious food and excellent service. The staff are kind and accommodating, making guests feel welcome, especially with small children. The menu features a variety of options, including sushi, which is served at the right temperature. The restaurant has a lovely setting near the river, although the view is not always guaranteed. The atmosphere is clean and nice, with a huge sushi bar offering a range of options. While parking can be challenging, the excellent food and accommodating staff make it a great dining option. Recently, guests praised the friendly service, with Brianna remembering returning customers and ensuring drinks and food were consistently good. The restaurant was busy, but reservations helped guests be seated promptly upstairs. Among the dishes tried, the Shrimp & Veggie stir fry was very good, with lots of shrimp in a light sauce, while the Mango Chicken was highly recommended. However, the lamb dish was not well received, as it was thin and chewy, and the sauce was not to everyone's liking. Dishes do not include rice, so a large house fried rice was ordered to share. The bill for a night out, including four drinks, was considered fair at around $60 per couple. Overall, the combination of good food, good prices, and friendly service makes this restaurant a popular choice.
