Hidden gem in Milford, MA. Located a liquor store; never would have guessed. If you like carbs you will enjoy this spot. The quiche is a decadent custard that’s light and fluffy and wholesome with a pastry shell that has the perfect crisp. The croissants are the best in the region really nailing the light, flaky puff of a croissant whether chocolate or ham and cheese. The cannelé are a new favorite of never experienced before; with a crispy burnt sugar outside and a fluffy, spongy inside that has a slight sweetness. Everything is fresh and keeps well for a couple days.Thank you bringing amazing pastries and breads to the area!

My most recent purchase included the leek and potato savory danish; pistachio and chocolate escargot; and freshly baked baguette. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that that was some of the best food I tasted in my life. Melt in your mouth pastry with the best balance of flavors.

So. Amazing. Selection - superb. Tasty - without question. Authentic - melts in your mouth. Service - efficient yet fun. Get there early for the full choice, but from croissants to quiche to breads you will be in awe.

This place is an absolute favorite. Her pastry is executed beautifully. I’ve tried maybe a dozen different things at this point, and they have all been 10/10. I’m not even kidding.

What a pleasant surprise!! When my husband told me where we were headed this morning (a French bakery located inside Hickey’s Liquor Store…?) at first I didn’t believe him. But it was true! An impressive spread of truly delicious stuff. We’ll be back for sure!

I really don't want to recommend this place. I want to keep it for myself and keep the crowds out, but it should be known that this is one of the best places to get fresh bread and French pastries. I don't think this place is a secret anymore anyway, some of my favorites are the seed bread, the olive bread, ham and cheese croissant, and actually any pastry. Everything is great!! The woman that owns it is super nice. You can order things ahead of time and she will have them ready for you and if you're late picking up, thankfully, they are inside the liquor store and the liquor store manager is happy to hold the bag for you. On that note, that liquor store has some outstanding wine!!

Absolutely amazing bakery. Everything I’ve had is to die for. You may feel a little weird walking into a liquor store at 7am, but you’ll get over it quickly.

A friend took me to that cute, and rather surprising bakery (it is located in a liquor store). The pains au chocolat taste just like in France. The bread selection looked very nice.
