I have eaten Mazzarelli’s bread every week since I was a child (2000-2024), within those 24 years the quality of their bread has remained the best I have ever eaten in the northeast US. I cannot give higher praise to their portuguese rolls, like all bread best eaten on the day it was baked :) I hope to eat their bread for another 60 years! Thank you guys for everything you do❤️

This bakery is the best, still consistent, the bread has the same crust & crumb softness flavor texture. This bakery has been the same since day one. The bakery has been handed down through generations and the process has never changed. This bakery sells Italian Portuguese and french bread. Others can mimic it. But there is only one. Mazzarelli's bakery is the one!!!!!

I called asking if they bake bulkie rolls. The woman that answered the phone told me I should order the dinner rolls. I got there and they were smaller than slider buns, nowhere close to hamburger rolls or bulkies. The woman who originally took my order argued with me about my order, even though I ordered on her recommendation after I asked for bulkies. We got things resolved, and I left with hamburger rolls. They were supposedly baked the day of but they were hard as a rock. They went into the trash and I sadly bought superior mass produced bulkies from BJ’s.

Gave them a lot of business over fifteen years, and was rewarded by refusing to deliver to our third restaurant , the owner said that he can’t deliver less than five dozens of bread!!!!!!!!!, it is a new pizza restaurant, how come for one week old restaurant to sell five dozens of bread a day???, we used to order every day more than your minimum average to deliver.I think you got enough business to turn your back on your old customers.. good luck to you, because that is the beginning of the end.

If you have a bakery in your town, you are quite lucky because it’s a luxury in the 21st Century. Bake Shops in local grocery stores have taken the place of bakeries and satisfied our appetite for fresh baked ? bread. Loaves, rolls, French, or Vienna , there’s nothing like fresh baked bread and Maxzerelli’s Bakery still operates after 80 years . The selection is not as vast as it once was, but all the staples are still there, and it’s baked fresh daily and I don’t have to tell you it’s quite good. Easy access, pull up in the front or park along the side of building. Most people just leave their car running, it’s fast, quick, and easy to pick up bread at the counter and step right out!

The best bread! I think it's the Portuguese, Italian connection. Plus all the great employees that care about the product.Very old school, I hope they keep those old world values.
