This place definitely has the best pastor I’ve had in MA and it’s not particularly close, I’ve been going here consistently for 5 years and it never dissappoints, it’s well seasoned, somewhat spicy, very subtly sweet, and extremely juicy. The service people are very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is nice. However, the reason for the 4 star rating is that ever since the remodel in March of this year, the prices were significantly increased. The pastor tacos were $3.25 each prior to the remodel, now they’re $4.50. This means if I want to eat 4 of them, it would cost me $5 more. If this is to pay off some loan they received for the remodel, I can’t complain too much, but it still deducts a star.

First time ordering post renovation. It's been a year. Food was previously amazing. First off, no one speaks English so you have to order online. But the menu online doesn't match the online ordering system. I thought I ordered pork carnitas bowl and instead got an over seasoned chewy meat. We were missing an item as well so I called for a refund but NO ONE SPEAKS English and we couldn't get anyone to understand we wanted a refund. We will not be back. Such a disappointment. If you can't even have someone answering the phone speaking broken English you shouldn't run a business.

La Estrella is back open! This is one of my families favorite places for takeout in town. The prices are fair, their setup for togo is excellent and the food is still fresh but not soggy when you get it and the flavors are great. Personally I love the chorizo options, but we have had all the meats and they are all very good.
Prices are very fair and they have just re-done the inside and it looks great so we may have to sit and relax instead of takeout next time. There are a few takeout options for Mexican in town but La Estrella is by far my favorite.
I’m torn about leaving this review. If I tell you actually how great it is, I may not be able to get a table next time…. There’s no other place I’ll go for authentic Mexican that feels like family.
This place is usually my go to for good Mexican food in the area. Unfortunately today wasn’t my luck when I ordered birria tacos. I used to love their birria tacos but I didn’t enjoy them at all today. The birria was dry, the taco soft shell itself wasn’t cooked with the consomé like it’s usually done or at least the little cup side of consomé wasn’t enough to dip 3 tacos. I asked for cheese on the tacos and the cheese was given on the side instead of cooked with the taco and be melted.
Amazing! It was a quiet late lunch for us due to being at Milford hospital. Searched “Mexican” and found this on maps. I also searched my gluten free app and this wasn’t on there. Got there and the whole menu was labeled with what was GF and what was not. Drinks were 10/10 fresh clean and crisp. Food was incredible. Got the Burria tacos and they were loaded and cooked to perfection and hot temp-wise! Awesome place. Felt like I was transported somewhere else for an hour.
The food was very good, we just need to improve the customer service, I was going to leave an extra 20% tip and then they gave me a tip, and we were not treated with kindness

We did take out here last night. Food is so good, I ate my other half for breakfast. Really generous portions and each item has its own flavor! Adobo, chipotle, ancho, cilantro, all the authentic Mexican chilies and herbs and all just where they need to be. Sauces delicious as well. Refritos are creamy with crumbled sausage, even the rice is well seasoned and cooked. We had pork carnitas, I had the enchiladas suizas, and we had a birra taco and a shrimp taco, and this was nearly too much food for 2 but I really wanted to try the enchiladas. I’m only giving 3 stars to the atmosphere just because it’s small and I wouldn’t necessarily want to dine in but they do serve margaritas. My husband picked up the food. Highly recommend!

The owner lady? Is so nice and helpful, as well as everyone there: all smiles and ensuring your entire experience is PERFECT! the tacos were amazing, u liked the birria more than the carnitas, and those better than the chicken. The rice was very flavorable, and the refried beans were perfectly done!
