The food was average. I had duck I couldn't cut. No one came to ask how anything was (it was not crowded). I had to wait 10 minutes to ask for a sharp knife and still couldn't cut the duck. When the plate was left full, the server just took it away and never asked how anything was. They also insist you order all your food at one time which I know is a trend but I think is really rude. It's BYOB so they don't serve alcohol. Dinner was $250 for something I couldn't eat. There are so many amazing places to go on the island, i would try somewhere else. FWIW, I've heard nothing by great things about the place so maybe it was an off night, but doesn't make up for aloof and disinterested service. They definitely don't make you feel welcome like some other places do.
We absolutely love this place. We had an amazing dinner. 2 of us sat at the bar and wow just delicious!!!Todd and Steele were so friendly all the servers. We loved it so much we went back for breakfast the next day!
Excellent food and staff though the excessive per person corkage fee was a surprise that left a bit of a sour note.
Amazing!!! Such creative dishes and all were delicious!! Best service-nicest staff and outstanding chef!
We had a fabulous dinner last weekend! The food was delicious and we loved the cozy atmosphere. We tried the pink salt sourdough, tuna tartare , linguini with quahogs, chicken thighs and a chocolatey dessert special. Everything was incredible. Can't wait to come back next time we're on the island!
Had an interesting appetizer - Crab Rangoon pancake. It was great as was the Caesar salad. I had salmon that was cooked perfectly - crunchy skin and moist flesh which is difficult to achieve. My partner had a cod that he enjoyed as well. We were hoping to take dessert home but the pot de creme wasn't going to travel well in the available container. The service was attentive but not intrusive. A great evening.
I wish there were more places like this everywhere. A real gem.

Loved breakfast there, went back twice- would’ve gone again but they were closed on Wednesday morning. Definitely recommend and will come back when on the island.

I don’t think that I’ll be coming back here any time soon. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants on island, but they have fallen far behind. Even good food can taste bad when the service is so horrible. From placing our order to being served, it took over an hour. Our server was indifferent, chatting with the other servers while others were being served. She offered lame excuses when we asked what had happened to our order. When it finally arrived, it was cold and the portions were small. How expensive would it have been to increase the amount of grains and vegatables to proportionately accommodate the protein? The halibut had some good flavors to it, but ultimately the dish was quite bland. The cod was in a curry sauce no better than you could get from any Thai restaurant anywhere in the world and was overly spicy such that any subtleties of flavor from the ingredients could not come through. The blue fish chowder was delicious although it was more of a potato soup made with fish stock. The kale salad was also quite good, but nothing really memorable.Though the menu had promised a bread pudding, what we were served was instead two tiny confections that would have easily fit into a box of chocolates. Given the price point and given that we were charged $10 per glass for our BYOB wine, I feel totally taken advantage of. There are much more honest dining places elsewhere on island.

We had a great breakfast here. Of course, it’s Nantucket pricing, but that’s the whole island. I got the corned beef hash and it was unlike any other I’ve had. The corned beef was sooo tender and instead of using diced potatoes, they were almost mashed potatoes. Very good. Hubby got the huevos rancheros which had a really good sauce. He added an extra pancake too. The staff was very warm and kind. Seating was crowded but we really enjoyed our morning there.

Funky little spot with delicious made-to-order dishes. Innovative fare yet feels like home. The linguini with quahog clams were delicious—get the chocolate mousse dessert.

I would put negative if I could. Hostess refused to seat us because of my service dog. Reported them to the ADA.
Turned us away with a service dog in violation of ADA. Hostess claimed health department prohibited dogs

Food tasted like a tv dinner but they made up for it with terrible service.
Quick tip to our lovely server - if someone hasn't ordered yet and you knew it was because they took their little kid to the restroom, don't snap at them when they get back to their seat that they need to order immediately because you need the table back in 1.5 hours. Parents with young kids at 5:30pm reservations don't linger. I'm not sure why you were offended when we paid and left instead - you wanted your table back and you got it✌🏽
