“We (my husband & I) have been a week in Nantucket at Greydon House were was like to be at home! very comfortable with a big king size bed, double air conditioning and a big bathroom with always hot water and very soft towels! breakfast just across the street; beach towels in a big tote bag with beach chairs every day! Very strategic location downtown just steps form the fast ferry and restaurant. If you have your own or rented a car they'll provied you a Park Permit very important there!
The people were fantastic helping us with any our request, alwayas very kind with all the people stayn in.
For sure we'll be back in Nantuket and Greydon house will be our stay again. Thanks to you all!”

“Have been going here a long time but yesterday my sister had to go to ER due to blood sugar. The staff (and other patrons) were amazing. Stayed calm and called the hospital. Jeff, our waiter, confirmed we should go and packed evening up and even before that stuffed mummies himself with blue cheese. John, the manger, helped us and said the owners called to make sure all was ok. Btw the food and atmosphere is amazing. Going in 55 plus years there. Thank you”

“good food, a bit pricey, to the owner's I would say letting your staff carry around cell phones is a terrible idea. We were never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, the server was playing on their phone instead of working. You lost an extra $8.00 of business. Just FYI.”

“We dined here last summer with a large group and service and food was outstanding. Everyone was happy! We returned yesterday for date night and again, service was lovely. We really enjoyed the tarte, crab cake, and halibut. Dessert, a cookie bar with cookie butter ice cream(!!), was recommended by our kind and attentive server, Jerome. We also told him how much we loved the toppers brown bread, and he brought us a to-go slice and the recipe along with it - so kind! We love Toppers. Go for the meal, stay for the sunset.”

“My husband and I hosted an anniversary party at Proprietors and could not have been more thrilled with the experience! Our guests raved about the food and the service alike. They were incredibly attentive to our guests with dietary restrictions in particular. On top of that, they allowed us to take our time and provided beautiful flowers, menus, and place cards — a lovely surprise! I highly recommend planning an event here!”

“This cute little cafe is a great vibe and offers excellent service and food. They have affordable prices, not to mention delicious breakfast options as well as wraps and sandwiches. The star of the show in this cafe is the speed and excellent service they offer. One of the best team members they have is Shea who goes above and beyond in all that she does. She once saved a man twice her size from a burning building. Also she volunteers at shelters for animals, and has travelled to various animal sanctuaries in the world where she had a huge part in saving the endangered species known as the African Penguin. Please visit 45 surfside and enjoy great food, great service provided by our hero Shea.”

“Delicious bagels! We ordered plain, herb and English muffin bagels, cookies, and scallion cream cheese. They were all phenomenal. The bagels were soft on the inside with just the right amount of chewy and crisp on the outside. They were also delivered right to my door. I highly recommend this bakery.”

“If you are craving an amazing pulled pork sandwich, dinner plate or may it be the smoked ribs, absolutely delicious baked beans and coleslaw, Foggy’s is the place. Easy and quick takeout with the most hospitable owners who dedicate their hard labor of love to the Islander’s at a fair price.”

“Big items are quite good.Sometimes I've noticed some restaurants.Do so well that they don't take care of their customers. Ordered a spinach feta croissant sandwich, along with a beef Patty. Jamaican style wasn't disappointed in the flavors. Was disappointed in the service walked in, found the place to be clean. Designed for a very quick and go service station, waited there for 10 minutes, while another customer was being helped, there was a young lady at the register.But she ignored me, not the very best service.But the quality of food was good.I guess you can't get everything in life when you're living on an island.”

“The food was amazing! We ordered the tuna tartare, dumplings, and several different types of sushi. The spicy tuna roll was definitely our favorite!

However, I do think the staff member who greeted us could have been more polite and welcoming. When we arrived, no one was at the front desk, so after waiting a few minutes, we walked in to look for someone. She was quite rude when she approached us and gave us attitude, telling us that we couldn’t do that. We completely understand if there are certain rules, but the situation could have been handled in a much friendlier and more professional way.

That being said, after that initial interaction, the service was very good, and we really enjoyed the food!”

“This was my second visit to Oran Mor. Party of six. The appetizers were delicious! Oysters, burrata, and potato gratin each one was Fantastic!
I had the halibut as my entree and it was cooked to perfection. Moist, flavorful with a delicious sauce. We had a rich and delicious chocolate dessert and a light fruity dessert, both were outstanding!
Every dish was top tier. I ordered a “Flaming Daisy” (?)cocktail which I enjoyed but it got a lot spicier as the ice melted. The waiter it off so that I enjoyed the whole drink.”

“Lunch time and we were seated right away. S3rvice was great, and food was great! Husband had the reuben, and it was tasty and generous in size. My 2 yr old had the kids fish and chips and he gobbled that right up. I had a garden sald and the Guinness onion soup, it was tasty and fresh!”

“The tofu bowl was huge and was actually quite tasty with their sauce. We also got an açaí bowl (ask for no honey) and later went back for a smoothie. Only reason for 4 stars is bc majority of what they sell is animal products. NOTE: only 1 of the 3 rice options was dairy free (the beans and rice, not the Spanish or cilantro lime) and the broccoli had Parmesan in it that wasn’t visible. The girl working there was kind to point out which had dairy after I said I had a dairy allergy. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-26”

“This is not Karen this is Kenny B and this there is no finer place to be, I've Been Everywhere Man cross the mountain bear man breathed the Mountain Air man and there is no finer unless you're deep in a? Well you know, in the morning? Top Notch nothing but the best all around and Sam loves it too, my place also has a bartenderess named Sam what could be better, and as a bartenderess I have never met feiner and I have been around for those who don't know me, I'm not only an old hippie that don't know what to do but I've spent some time on both sides of the bar and she is Bar None Stellar personal service and you don't find that much no more oh, that's all I have to say about that, you will have to make your own decisions Beyond this report”

“I’ve eaten here several times and it always exceeds my expectations. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very lively. Remind you of a club or restaurant you would see in posh Miami but with the Naples vibe definitely will be back eat outside if you can it’s great.”

We ate outside by the bar and despite a bit of rainy weather; we throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine; the service was excellent and we have earmarked a return visit this August.”

“So far my favorite beach on the island. Convenient facilities and ample parking for cars and bikes. Soft sand, not too crowded, nice waves and cooler water which feels awesome on a hot day. Clean and no seaweed. Great to have a high end snack bar, bathrooms and showers on site.”

Cheeseburger, Bartlett's Farm tomato salad, garlic fries, and the butter crunch sundae were all excellent and the pacing of the meal was also good. “I just had the best 70th birthday dinner here! Chef Joseph created a delicious menu and paired wines. The Company Popovers accompanied a crisp Caesar salad, Wagyu beef and a lobster tail with smashed potatoes & broccolini was the entree, rounded out with “The Marriage of Crème Brûlée + Chocolate Mousse” and Dows Fine Sherry Port. The service was spectacular (thank you Johnny) and the intimate and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience for my party of 10. I recommend this place for a singular and memorable experience!”

“We've been going to Faregrounds for years and have enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. We returned recently and wondered whether the magic would continue under the new owners, and were delighted to learn that it has. We ordered widely different things--shrimp scampi, chicken sandwich, fish and chips, grilled chicken club, and chicken Milanese, with honey sciracha wings to start--and everything was delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. We'll definitely be back!”

“Food was delicious and the portions were huge! Only complaints were that it was hot inside, we weren’t given a steak knife for the steak, and the steak was a little tough. But the salmon was amazing!!”

Now to the beer. I must say I was dissapointed. It could not be my style of beer but I did notice the quality of cisco consistently falls sideways as they continue regional expansion, even their classics are somewhat unrecognizable nowadays. Fortunately for them they have branded themselves so well--most will equate it with Cape/Island Beach Beer..If you are a big IPA drinker, I can see the hype, but if you enjoy lagers and ales I'd skip wholeheartedly....

Overall, Cisco has a fantastic setup, I just thought the beer would be better.”

“This is a family business and you can feel it! The food, coconut based ICE CREAM and boba are all amazing. Genuine Thai ice cream flavors like ube, Thai tea and yummy toppings like sticky rice and mochi. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. Prices are affordable too.”

“This was, hands down, the best food and service we had on the island. The jarlsberg pancake (potato pancake with jarlsberg melted in) was what I would order again. The grits were perfectly cooked, and the chicken sausage was perfectly spiced. Seriously wish they were open for all meals, this is the only place I would go. Everything else on the island was overpriced and not up to par. Black eyed Susan's, the service was spot on impeccable, and delicious food.”

“I frequent this place on my day off just for little odds and ends, sometimes a slice of pizza here and there. First time ordering a burger and some fries and honestly, pretty decent foe the price out here. The stuff they have in the warmer around lunch ain't half bad too (decent pepper chicken with some fried rice) I appreciate this little place.”

“What a find. We went to Nantucket from Cape Cod on a whim and didn't have dinner reservations. We'd never been before, so we didn't appreciate how difficult it would be to get into dinner. We walked for a bit and found East Street. My husband had the chicken friend rice in a pineapple and it was absolutely delicious. Our 11 year old son was with us and he got the burger- also very good and my lobster roll was fantastic. The service was fantastic but to top it off, my son left his apple watch by mistake - it had fallen out of his bag. Well we called the restaurant and the owner went above and beyond - put it on the ferry the next day and we retrieved in in Hyannis. He didn't have to do that, but we were incredibly grateful he was willing to. Can't recommend this place enough!”
