My husband and I hosted an anniversary party at Proprietors and could not have been more thrilled with the experience! Our guests raved about the food and the service alike. They were incredibly attentive to our guests with dietary restrictions in particular. On top of that, they allowed us to take our time and provided beautiful flowers, menus, and place cards — a lovely surprise! I highly recommend planning an event here!
Still dreaming of the unique flavors. High quality food. The fried brócoli, with the cheese and bread plate, and the baked feta - what a way to start a meal. Order all these and just savor them. Had the octopus which was small but unique flavors. And the veg pasta was nicely seasoned and homemade. Super cool and cozy vibe inside. Great service. Get a reservation in advance.
A must. From the initial interaction with the host to Carolina who made our anniversary experience so special… we are forever fans of proprietors.

The Proprietors Bar & Table offers a great dining experience in Nantucket. The restaurant provides a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with loved ones. The friendly and wonderful staff are happy to help with the menu. The food is so fresh, delicious, and refreshing, with memorable dishes like the incredible roasted chicken, the great fire broccoli, a salad with delicious chunks of halloumi cheese, and two pastas. The lemon meringue pie ice cream is an incredible dessert that blows minds. The outdoor seating area adds to the ambiance. Guests have praised the food as beautifully executed, thoughtful, and delicious. While the dishes may be small, the variety and quality make it a great spot for a fun dinner out. The service is consistently excellent and exceptional, with staff going the extra mile to ensure a great meal.
