“I was in town and needed a place to find food late at night. I saw that Stubby's was open and walked in, only to be greeted by a great, friendly team. On recommendation, I ordered their Jerk chicken sandwich. It was so good, I followed up the rest of the week trying their entire menu. If you want top shelf burgers, sandwiches and service, I recommend Stubby's. and did I mention the prices were more than reasonable? (later in the week they're open til like 3am!!!).“

They have T.V's to watch a game, a couple pool tables, and plenty of room if you have kids to feed. There is also some outdoor seating in the works for next year.“
“Got fried bay scallop rolls twice the week I was in island in February. The scallops are juicy, sweet and fried properly. There's a little of them served on a soft toasted hamburger style bun with tartar sauce and a bag of chips on the side. I did get a side of cole slaw the second time. A full dinner would have been too much - scallops, fries, cup of chowder and cole slaw. There is no inside seating available and it was raining hard so no outdoor seating was possible. Plus it was close to freezing outside. It's simple, quick easy and very good. Order ahead to save time. What more could I ask for?“

“This is probably the only time you'll hear this Angeleno say "the Brady" was AWESOME. This turkey sandwich comes with herbed aioli and greens. The bread has a great texture and is fluffy. ICED LATTE and HOT LATTE are good and they use the beans from a local roaster, Nantucket Roastery. The STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE was filling and refreshing. There is no line to order because the cashier is fast. There's a full staff behind tue counter so you don't have to wait for your food and drinks too long. The indoor eating area is cozy and air conditioned. There are plenty chairs and tables outdoor. They have merch!!!“
“A friend and I have the Valentine's Day prix fix menu last night for dinner. It was only $35 for three courses: a starter, lobster and filet minion main course, and dessert. I had the spinach salad which was totally delicious. The filet was perfectly cooked -- I haven't eaten steak in over a year and I finished the entire steak -- great demi-glace! I couldn't have dessert because I can't eat cow and sheep dairy, but my friend said the berries in sabayon was a perfect ending and my cheesecake that she too to her husband was outstanding. I think this is the best value and one of the tastiest meals I've had on nantucket all year!“

Everywhere you step, the air is scented of rosemary, geranium, patchouli and bergamot. The drinks at the bar were delicious and the menu offerings superb! Ending the nights in the gorgeous tiled shower with excellent water pressure and then slipping into the comfortable bed with beautiful, soft linens while listening to the jovial activity below on the street through open windows was simply heaven. “Great spot for outdoor sushi on a hot summer day. The drinks were cold, our server was good-and what a nice spot to lunch off the hustle bustle of a Saturday afternoon in downtown. You can't go wrong with the sushi-though some of the rolls are a bit derivative of each other.“

“American Seasons remains one of our favorite restaurants in Nantucket. Jackson, our server, was very accommodating of our request for a different table when we first arrived, and his excellent service continued throughout the evening. The food was just as good as I remember. We had the scallop appetizer, fall vegetable salad, Giannone chicken, and the duck breast. All were delicious, as was the hearty bread that preceded the meal. I like that this restaurant is centrally located but still a bit off the beaten path of the main commercial area of town. Feels like a find.“

“The corner table cafe is the foundation of a great Nantucket trip.After stepping off the ferry at 7:10 AM, we bee-lined right to the corner table cafe. This first trip into the cafe was without problem - we got two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees, costing about $40. Much too expensive for me, but the benefits of being a corner table cafe customer are worth it.With its central location, we found ourselves returning multiple times to fill our water bottles with water from their spigot. The bathrooms are clean, the seating is comfortable, and they have sparkling water on tap.“

“I spent a weekend in the Cagney cottage at the Summer House when it reopened and I have to say it was truly the relaxing escape I was hoping for. The island has become so crowded in town and we were able to enjoy Sconset and the Ocean Views. The chef this year is spectacular and I enjoyed my dinner there both nights. First I had the lamb and then the next night the Bolognese. The atmosphere was so fun and welcoming with everyone singing around the piano and you could feel the excitement of having an iconic Nantucket summer favorite back for the season!!“

“It was a really cold night but this place provided all the comfort and warmth we needed. Becky took wonderful care of us and accommodated all of our requests. I think the entrance door needs a better strategy for the approaching winter so that the cold doesn't blast in at every person getting in or out. We love this place!
