“Have been going here a long time but yesterday my sister had to go to ER due to blood sugar. The staff (and other patrons) were amazing. Stayed calm and called the hospital. Jeff, our waiter, confirmed we should go and packed evening up and even before that stuffed mummies himself with blue cheese. John, the manger, helped us and said the owners called to make sure all was ok. Btw the food and atmosphere is amazing. Going in 55 plus years there. Thank you“

“We sat with some locals on the ferry over to Nantucket and they told us we had to stop by for their Acai bowl and other breakfast/baked good items. The pumpkin bread was delicious and I went back every day for another piece to go with my Chai which they made with steamed milk and it was delicious. I opted for the almond milk b/c they make it fresh in house. They seem to make a lot of items in house, as well as the granola and even the dog cookies for the pup cups (I overheard them talking about it). The ice cream selection was great too and one day I tried the Pumpkin- YUM! My husbands favorite was sea salt caramel on a chocolate waffle cone which we had never had before, but glad we did. The outdoor patio was also a good place to take a break and people watch.“

The small plates had so many great options that we opted to share - cheese/walnut date bread, salt cod fritters, fried broccoli, hamachi crudo and pasta dish. The lobster fradiavolo is delicious as is the steak frittes and the pudding desert so unique and decadent- enough for 4 to share! Buffalo dip also a big hit! “I just had the best 70th birthday dinner here! Chef Joseph created a delicious menu and paired wines. The Company Popovers accompanied a crisp Caesar salad, Wagyu beef and a lobster tail with smashed potatoes & broccolini was the entree, rounded out with “The Marriage of Crème Brûlée + Chocolate Mousse” and Dows Fine Sherry Port. The service was spectacular (thank you Johnny) and the intimate and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience for my party of 10. I recommend this place for a singular and memorable experience!“

“My wife and I rode bikes to this nice cafe and shared the Tom Brady sandwich and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. Fortunately, I ate the sandwich first, because the wrap was amazing! I would definitely order the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap again! Of course, it has fried chicken and bacon in it. It was quite busy after 1:00 on a Thursday in July, but we got a table right away. Excellent service! They filled our water bottles for us.“

“New chef and there during Christmas stroll which means exceptional volume of people. Friendly staff but slightly overwhelmed by the non stop grind of Stroll weekend. Limited menu for stroll. Food was tasty but not exceptional like the previous chef. Example, lobster bisque didn't have the one large piece of lobster I would have expected. Would go back during non stroll to see the what the restaurant is really capable of.“

“This is a perennial stop for us yet exceeded our expectations this year. The menu selections combined flavors and textures in unusual and creative ways with great success. The roasted carrot salad was spectacular, as was the “Nantucket Reds” appetizer. The appetizer portions and lemon poppet dessert portions were on the small side but the duck entree was substantial and also a hit. We had friendly, attentive service by Archie and his support staff, and enjoyed the comfortable window bench seating and quiet, attractive indoor space. The outdoors is covered and equally appealing.“

“My husband and I go to Nantucket every year, and this was our first time at Greydon House; it was my favorite stay thus far on the island. Charming rooms, fantastic location and a chic restaurant on site. Tom, the manager (sorry if I messed the name up), could not have been nicer or more obliging, and was extremely knowledgeable about the island. Front desk team was very helpful as well. This will be my go to stay on Nantucket!“

“Had the Lobster Roll, cold w/ mayo. Enough said. This warm split top buttered roll with a cold generous amount of fresh lobster was amazing. We are on the island working the cold months & this was amazing!!! Can't wait to be back in a couple weeks!! Oh, the God Father sub & the Meatball sub are delicious too!!! Can't go wrong here!!!“

“We love the food and the vibe at Slip 14! It’s so nice to have an excellent but casual restaurant on the water. Teddy makes the BEST Bloody Mary’s we have ever had! The energy is so great with Teddy’s personal playlist on Spotify, football or golf on the TV. Between Teddy, Brennan and Timmy they are a fun tag team welcoming everyone that walks in. Between the 3 of them at lunch on Sunday Funday you can’t miss having a great time. We loved the scallop roll which is so unique, smash burger and the fish tacos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Boat house is the best food on the island! All ingredients are extremely fresh and nutritious. Service/staff is always amazing and helpful. Open late for the night owl customers! Shout out to owners Hera and Sujata for such an outstanding atmosphere and great hospitality!“

“Lunch time and we were seated right away. S3rvice was great, and food was great! Husband had the reuben, and it was tasty and generous in size. My 2 yr old had the kids fish and chips and he gobbled that right up. I had a garden sald and the Guinness onion soup, it was tasty and fresh!“

“We've been going to Faregrounds for years and have enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. We returned recently and wondered whether the magic would continue under the new owners, and were delighted to learn that it has. We ordered widely different things--shrimp scampi, chicken sandwich, fish and chips, grilled chicken club, and chicken Milanese, with honey sciracha wings to start--and everything was delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. We'll definitely be back!“

They include an auto 22% gratuity on groups of 6 or more. Thats fine and we’d have gotten there anyway but would have preferred to be told that, either by the waitress or on the menu. The charge slip includes the all inclusive bill plus an additional line for more tip, which i find bad form. Its a great restaurant- just be up front.“
