“I bet I know what you need. You need a little outing. Yes, you might consider stopping at Jack's Outback. Why? Because it is what makes the day much more pleasant. Jack's is tucked cozily back from the road, you may miss it if you are not careful. Yet, where else are you going to get beautiful surroundings, a lovely pet to greet you, the best breakfast or lunch and waitresses that are so accommodating that you feel welcome as if they were waiting for your arrival. We have enjoyed their company and eats for years: the restaurant is spotless, the meals are excellently prepared and the company is lovely. The owner has adapted to the COVID 19 restrictions far and above what was required. And as the restrictions set in, she became more inventive. Her goal, how to make the journey a pleasant one, though we were all very frightened, I am sure she was to, but she did all she could to protect us and give us a breather if just for a few minutes. “My wife recently threw me a surprise birthday party here. From my end, it was amazing! The venue had enough room for about 60 guests and a 6 piece band. Funktapuss. Everything went so smooth from the initial surprise reveal to the food and bar service. The kitchen did an amazing job serving everyone with hot food and everyone I spoke with said their meal was delicious. I had the flat iron steak. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious! The bartender did a great job of keeping everyone happy. I have attached a couple photos. I would highly recommend The West End for a special occasion. My wife told me everyone was very helpful, especially Carolyn.“

“Just left Scargo We’ve been patrons of your restaurant for many years, often at the bar. Food is always consistent and delicious. Tonight was good news and bad news. On the bad news, Debbie at bar was abrupt, not friendly and a disappointment from what we are use to. On the very good news, CJ was fantastic. Personable, quick, friendly and knows how to interact with customers. We hope it’s all good news next time.“

“We went on a date night here last night and it was so good we took our family and mother in law back here tonight. Food was SO good and service was great- both our waitresses were super sweet. “Visited for the first time after making a phone reservation more than a week ago - this place is very popular! Super friendly welcome, peaceful and calm atmosphere. We had two pasta mains that were very well made, al dente pasta, flavorful sauce. Very cozy on a chilly night. Service is perhaps a little slow but they want to make you feel comfortable and not rushed. Will definitely come back when we visit cape cod again!“

“The Portside Tavern restaurant has excellent service and food quality. The app (Charcuterie Board) and both entrees (Braised Short Rib and Cod) were over the top quality and cooked to perfection. What was nice is each entry offered a wine pairing suggestion which made the wine decision easy! The charcuterie board was fresh and had such a nice variety of meats, cheeses, olives, fig, dill pickles, apple, crackers, nuts and dried mango. We will definitely return again.“

“We were at The Auld Triangle this past Saturday. The food, drink and atmosphere were fantastic. The wait staff was amazing. The music was unbelievable. Keohane and Kenneally played great Irish tunes and music from the 70s, 80s, etc. If you have not seen them play, make it a point to The Auld to hear them play. You need try The Auld Triangle. You will not be disappointed, and will become a regular, which I am going to become.“

“Absolutely LOVE this place. I first went out to dinner at this restaurant with my younger brother and my mother last year. I got a chicken/veal parmesan the first time and it rocked. The second time I went (September 3rd), I got spaghetti and meatballs, and it was the bomb 😋😋😋“

“This is my kind of place. Usually I stay on the southern side of Cape Cod, but business brought me this way and now I have a new favorite spot for breakfast. I got the hearty breakfast, 3 eggs, bacon, sausage link, home fries. All at a more than reasonable price. I also got 1 pancake to try them out and it was good. The food was great, the service was excellent, I never wanted for anything, the atmosphere was of a local place where everyone goes. I left there very happy, not grumpy at all.“

Clean and friendly place for breakfast though we were sad to learn this will be their last season since planned renovations to the Tidewater Inn include changing the diner into a restaurant with a bar.“

It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! “Parking: We went in my mom's car n she had a sticker on it she lives down the cape n is a senior so I'm really not sure i try to go down as much as i can but had my own problems as i was in the hospital for 2 months this yr 2022 i passed away for 6 min then went into a coma for 3 wks lost my organs ended up on dialisis all caused from pnemino had a liter of fluid behind my heart“

Most servers are less than thrilled when we ask about dairy being in certain items- but not Princess. She went above and beyond and completely made our night.
