Sam, our server, was very accommodating of our grandkids, despite having a very busy section, and the food was delicious. Cape Cod fare. Chowda was rich and delicious ❤“

“Just don’t get take out! So we really like the Nun, but the last few take out orders have gone so south. A few months ago a when I arrived to P/u our order I was told a Door Dash guy grabbed/was given our food. He brought it back, but not before a couple items were turned upside down in the bag and definitely colder than when they left the restaurant. The manager was supposed to take care of us a few days later when he was as in but we got crickets instead. We decided to give it another try for take out tonight. (When we go in the much is more often then other places, it’s great.) My daughter’s well done burger was medium at best (1st pic), my wife’s MW was MR and my boys MR (2nd pic)were not cooked. These issues only arise when we take out. When we go in, things are great. I guess it’s insanity because we keep returning and expecting different results. No more take out for us… and hopefully for you. However, we will continue going in.“

“This restaurant is SPOTLESS. The server was extremely pleasant, made sure coffee cup was full. My eggs, bacon Homefries and Rye toast were delicious. My guy had a cornbeef omelet with cheese. The owner is lovely, she cooks and manages a friendly staff. Highly recommend and we will be back. Food is reasonably priced.“

“The wife and I chose this spot for an anniversary dinner - and we were NOT disappointed. The food was amazing across the board... the service was charming (thank you, Duet!) and the desserts were awesome too. (Try the Sandbar - a concoction of Graham cracker, chocolate, Reese's and vanilla ice cream that is just out of this world. Two giant thumbs-up - we'll definitely be back!“

“Went for the first time today, even though I live in town and wow it is such a spectacular restaurant. From the service to the decor to the food to the drinks and oh my God, we all agreed the toffee cake dessert was one of the most delicious desserts we’ve ever had. Absolutely five stars.“

On the bad news, Debbie at bar was abrupt, not friendly and a disappointment from what we are use to. On the very good news, CJ was fantastic. We always enjoy dinners at Spinnaker. The food is artfully prepared and very flavorful. Tonight I had a delicious striped bass. The kitchen was kind enough to substitute roast potato’s for the listed mashed and they, too, were delicious. In addition to the potatoes, the fish was served with garlic green beans, tomato confit, and an asparagus puree that elevated the bass. Service was friendly and timely. We had a lovely evening.“

Sandwiches were good. Breakfast quesadilla was very good but very big.

Nice surprise for a last minute booking, only slight issue was the noise of one of the servers bashing plates around as he put them away. But a small thing on an enjoyable meal.“

Clean and friendly place for breakfast though we were sad to learn this will be their last season since planned renovations to the Tidewater Inn include changing the diner into a restaurant with a bar.“

So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! “Sunbird is one of my favorite breakfast spots on the cape. The food is unique and wholesome. My favorites are the breakfast tacos and chai latte. I love the picnic tables and patio in the back - such a relaxing spot to enjoy quiet or a catch up with friends!“

“We had the rueben and some chicken wings. Both yummy. Great fries and not too many. Hot and crunchy. It was a rainy night and the AC was blowing on us. I'm guessing it's a good atmosphere for a warm summer day but for us cold, not helped by a table of heavily drinking golfers who were loud, and super crude. The hard surfaces amplified their noise. We should have sat with everyone else at the other end of the restaurant with everyone else. It was too late by the time we figured it out. Staff was awesome. Tara and Mike.“

“We are looking to buy a home in the Dennis- Yarmouth area. We will be back for lunch around 2 tomorrow 3-2-2024. We found your restaurant last month while shopping at Marshall's. Everything was excellent, food, drinks , waitress I have to say thou how impressed we were with your host. What a nice young man, very polite and well mannered. Kudos to his parents. Over the years, this has become one of those places we truly look forward to visiting every time we come back. The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. The food is consistently delicious, with great portions and that wonderful homemade feel. My wife especially loves the home fries! 😋
