“High quality food at a fair price. Food was out in 12 minutes. Healthy portions. It’s clear that lots of thought goes into this food. The lady who served me was super nice. Will definitely be going here again.“

“This has a local, hometown feeling. It's not fancy, but it's friendly, and the food is good. They had a good choice of items for specials. There were four of us and we had a variety of items. Fish and chips changed to onion rings, a cheeseburger, and fish tacos with rice and beans. The decor is witty and darling. From the name and story of the name of the restaurant, to the cute signs and decor. Diane was our waitress and she treated us like family. The prices are fair. We then walked across the street and walked the beach and caught some breathtaking pictures as the sun was going down“

“The wife and I chose this spot for an anniversary dinner - and we were NOT disappointed. The food was amazing across the board... the service was charming (thank you, Duet!) and the desserts were awesome too. (Try the Sandbar - a concoction of Graham cracker, chocolate, Reese's and vanilla ice cream that is just out of this world. Two giant thumbs-up - we'll definitely be back!“

“Just don’t get take out! So we really like the Nun, but the last few take out orders have gone so south. A few months ago a when I arrived to P/u our order I was told a Door Dash guy grabbed/was given our food. He brought it back, but not before a couple items were turned upside down in the bag and definitely colder than when they left the restaurant. The manager was supposed to take care of us a few days later when he was as in but we got crickets instead. We decided to give it another try for take out tonight. (When we go in the much is more often then other places, it’s great.) My daughter’s well done burger was medium at best (1st pic), my wife’s MW was MR and my boys MR (2nd pic)were not cooked. These issues only arise when we take out. When we go in, things are great. I guess it’s insanity because we keep returning and expecting different results. No more take out for us… and hopefully for you. However, we will continue going in.“

“This restaurant is SPOTLESS. The server was extremely pleasant, made sure coffee cup was full. My eggs, bacon Homefries and Rye toast were delicious. My guy had a cornbeef omelet with cheese. The owner is lovely, she cooks and manages a friendly staff. Highly recommend and we will be back. Food is reasonably priced.“

On the bad news, Debbie at bar was abrupt, not friendly and a disappointment from what we are use to. On the very good news, CJ was fantastic. “Went for the first time today, even though I live in town and wow it is such a spectacular restaurant. From the service to the decor to the food to the drinks and oh my God, we all agreed the toffee cake dessert was one of the most delicious desserts we’ve ever had. Absolutely five stars.“

“We only booked at the last moment for dinner on Saturday night. The food was really nice and the service was good with the lady being really helpful. I enjoyed my tuna spaghetti and my daughter had the duck which was good. Nice surprise for a last minute booking, only slight issue was the noise of one of the servers bashing plates around as he put them away. But a small thing on an enjoyable meal.“

Sandwiches were good. Breakfast quesadilla was very good but very big.

“Having dined at Il Montebelo (Dining on the property), many times and looking out at the golf course I have always wanted to play it. I finally made a tee time with a friend and recently played it. I was not disappointed. While it is a shorter course, with only 1 par 5, 3 par 4’s and the rest part 3’s, it taps out at a deceiving par 60 for 18 holes. It is surrounded by woods and lots of trees on each hole and there are over 400 residences on the property as well, many overlooking the golf course. We were lucky enough to have been paired up with a gentleman who had played it a few times before and that was very helpful. The course is very spread out and has a long distance between some greens to the next tee. There are numerous hills, so unless you are a mountain goat, I don’t think you’d enjoy walking it. I always walk my relatively flat 9 hole course with no difficulty, but I would recommend you not walk this course. There are numerous hills, dog legs, bunkers galore, heavy rough, etc. to make this challenging for even a good golfer. The course is in great shape and the greens were excellent. There are trees everywhere, no ocean views as this is located a ways from the bay side, but on that side of the Cape. Right off Rt.6A. I think if you like a challenge you’ll enjoy Kings Way. If you have the time try dining at Il Montebelo too. If not come back and try it another time. I believe it is open all year.“

“We were pleasantly surprised to find Helen's Diner open during our last visit. We've always enjoyed the great food & service in a fun 1950's decor setting. Clean and friendly place for breakfast though we were sad to learn this will be their last season since planned renovations to the Tidewater Inn include changing the diner into a restaurant with a bar.“

“We had the rueben and some chicken wings. Both yummy. Great fries and not too many. Hot and crunchy. It was a rainy night and the AC was blowing on us. I'm guessing it's a good atmosphere for a warm summer day but for us cold, not helped by a table of heavily drinking golfers who were loud, and super crude. The hard surfaces amplified their noise. We should have sat with everyone else at the other end of the restaurant with everyone else. It was too late by the time we figured it out. Staff was awesome. Tara and Mike.“

Everything was excellent, food, drinks , waitress I have to say thou how impressed we were with your host. What a nice young man, very polite and well mannered. Kudos to his parents. It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! Jack's is tucked cozily back from the road, you may miss it if you are not careful. Yet, where else are you going to get beautiful surroundings, a lovely pet to greet you, the best breakfast or lunch and waitresses that are so accommodating that you feel welcome as if they were waiting for your arrival. We have enjoyed their company and eats for years: the restaurant is spotless, the meals are excellently prepared and the company is lovely. The owner has adapted to the COVID 19 restrictions far and above what was required. And as the restrictions set in, she became more inventive. Her goal, how to make the journey a pleasant one, though we were all very frightened, I am sure she was to, but she did all she could to protect us and give us a breather if just for a few minutes. “We have been coming to Cape Cod every year since 2017 and staying at our timeshare at The Cove, and I cannot express how happy we are to have The Sunset Restaurant right across the street!

Over the years, this has become one of those places we truly look forward to visiting every time we come back. The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. The food is consistently delicious, with great portions and that wonderful homemade feel. My wife especially loves the home fries! 😋

This year, I also want to give a special thank you to Kay. We wish you nothing but the very best on your journey ahead, and we sincerely hope to see you again when we return next year.
