Having dined at Il Montebelo (Dining on the property), many times and looking out at the golf course I have always wanted to play it. I finally made a tee time with a friend and recently played it. I was not disappointed. While it is a shorter course, with only 1 par 5, 3 par 4’s and the rest part 3’s, it taps out at a deceiving par 60 for 18 holes. What a wonderful course . Some of the par 3's are more difficult than the others and I like that. Tees, greens, and fairways are immaculate. Very friendly pro shop personnel and reasonable prices. I especially liked hole 5 and hole 9 was a nice surprise. Very majestic . The greens are very challenging with many having longer grass on the perimeter then shorter (normal) grass on the apron.
