The Wauwinet was magical and the best place to be for tranquility and quiet elegance at ACK--the only place we would stay. However, staying at the Wauwinet meant 25 minute rides to the better restaurants of ACK. We only stayed for 3 nights, but if more than that, we would have yearned for more interesting dining options. Server and staff professional service food was amazing
We dined here last summer with a large group and service and food was outstanding. Everyone was happy! We returned yesterday for date night and again, service was lovely. We really enjoyed the tarte, crab cake, and halibut. Dessert, a cookie bar with cookie butter ice cream(!!), was recommended by our kind and attentive server, Jerome. We also told him how much we loved the toppers brown bread, and he brought us a to-go slice and the recipe along with it - so kind! We love Toppers....read full review

Topper's, located in a boutique hotel, offers a delightful dining experience with stunning views, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance. The breakfast options, including Lobster Benedict and Cinnamon Roll French Toast, were all delicious, and the coffee was exceptional. The restaurant is perfect for special occasions, offering outstanding dishes like Halibut and delectable desserts such as Flourless Chocolate Cake. Don’t miss out on the kale and cabbage salad, the best salad you’ll ever put in your mouth. They have a great wine list, literally over a 1000 options. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience, and they do a great job managing food allergies. Great place on a good day when the sunshine’s for good cocktails and Sunday brunch, where the bacon was perfectly browned and crispy. Despite the high prices, the quality of the food and the romantic, beautiful setting make it a top choice for a memorable dinner.
