“This was my second visit to Oran Mor. Party of six. The appetizers were delicious! Oysters, burrata, and potato gratin each one was Fantastic!
I had the halibut as my entree and it was cooked to perfection. Moist, flavorful with a delicious sauce. We had a rich and delicious chocolate dessert and a light fruity dessert, both were outstanding!
Every dish was top tier. I ordered a “Flaming Daisy” (?)cocktail which I enjoyed but it got a lot spicier as the ice melted. The waiter it off so that I enjoyed the whole drink.“

“We love the food and the vibe at Slip 14! It’s so nice to have an excellent but casual restaurant on the water. Teddy makes the BEST Bloody Mary’s we have ever had! The energy is so great with Teddy’s personal playlist on Spotify, football or golf on the TV. Between Teddy, Brennan and Timmy they are a fun tag team welcoming everyone that walks in. Between the 3 of them at lunch on Sunday Funday you can’t miss having a great time. We loved the scallop roll which is so unique, smash burger and the fish tacos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“a stand-out of rustic humility in a sea of nantucket preppy. just two chefs helming the kitchen stage but everything moved seamlessly and calmly throughout a restaurant that felt more like a living room in a cosy home. our souls were exhausted from a day of big blings & gravitas but the flowered napkins & warm hosts soothed us into relaxing along with the gentle laughter of other happy diners.

a simple salad & one of the best clam pastas i’ve ever had brought us back to ground. i left feeling quite emotional. thank you.“

“We dined here last summer with a large group and service and food was outstanding. Everyone was happy! We returned yesterday for date night and again, service was lovely. We really enjoyed the tarte, crab cake, and halibut. Dessert, a cookie bar with cookie butter ice cream(!!), was recommended by our kind and attentive server, Jerome. We also told him how much we loved the toppers brown bread, and he brought us a to-go slice and the recipe along with it - so kind! We love Toppers. Go for the meal, stay for the sunset.“

“The best quick-service restaurant on Nantucket! You can order right at the counter or online, making it always quick and easy. The cheese fries are the best I’ve ever had, the buffalo chicken tenders are to die for, and the steak and cheese is equally delicious. Highly recommend! The food is consistently great, and the takeout service is fast. Definitely my go-to lunch spot whenever I’m on Nantucket.“

“Several reviews describe the menu as “quaint,” and that’s spot-on. It’s geographically all over the place(French, Mediterranean, and Filipino influences all appeared on the night we dined) but united by one recurring theme: an overwhelmingly heavy hand with peppers and spices.

There are some outstanding dishes. The Washashore Farm tomatoes and peaches were a highlight for all 8 of us. Elsewhere, however, flavors were too often muddled by excessive seasoning. A little restraint would go a long way.

The steak tartare suffered from an unpleasantly chewy, stringy texture. The lumpia (Filipino spring rolls) had the flavor profile of a frozen snack. The fried broccoli was equally meh, although the spicy peanuts finally made sense in the context of that dish. The cavatelli with burrata had promise but was, again, overwhelmed by pepper—an addition that felt completely unnecessary in that dish. The battered fried fluke was OK, but the accompaniments felt incongruous and never came together as a coherent plate.

The desserts (the Guinness cake and lemon sorbet with meringue) continued the theme of simply too much of everything. The lemon sorbet, in particular, managed to be both excessively sour and excessively sweet, to the point of being unpleasant.

Unfortunately, they had already run out of bone marrow by the time of our 8 p.m. dinner, so we weren’t able to try it.“

“I have been going to Nantucket for years and finally found Island Kitchen this past August; one of the best meals to be had on the island. We ate outside by the bar and despite a bit of rainy weather; we throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine; the service was excellent and we have earmarked a return visit this August.“

“Group of 6. Main dining room, very nice vibe. Food was outstanding - best in Nantucket. Service was solid. Only mild disappointment was the unexpectedly large bill at the end. They include an auto 22% gratuity on groups of 6 or more. Thats fine and we’d have gotten there anyway but would have preferred to be told that, either by the waitress or on the menu. The charge slip includes the all inclusive bill plus an additional line for more tip, which i find bad form. Its a great restaurant- just be up front.“

“Hands down one of the best meals I've had in long a time. The lobster spaghetti was insane. Perfectly seasoned and balanced. I even told my wife (who's allergic to lobster) that it would literally be worth the reaction. Not only was the food great, but the place is very clean and cozy and the staff were very friendly and prompt as well. Highly recommend this restaurant“

“I just had the best 70th birthday dinner here! Chef Joseph created a delicious menu and paired wines. The Company Popovers accompanied a crisp Caesar salad, Wagyu beef and a lobster tail with smashed potatoes & broccolini was the entree, rounded out with “The Marriage of Crème Brûlée + Chocolate Mousse” and Dows Fine Sherry Port. The service was spectacular (thank you Johnny) and the intimate and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience for my party of 10. I recommend this place for a singular and memorable experience!“

“What a find. We went to Nantucket from Cape Cod on a whim and didn't have dinner reservations. We'd never been before, so we didn't appreciate how difficult it would be to get into dinner. We walked for a bit and found East Street. My husband had the chicken friend rice in a pineapple and it was absolutely delicious. Our 11 year old son was with us and he got the burger- also very good and my lobster roll was fantastic. The service was fantastic but to top it off, my son left his apple watch by mistake - it had fallen out of his bag. Well we called the restaurant and the owner went above and beyond - put it on the ferry the next day and we retrieved in in Hyannis. He didn't have to do that, but we were incredibly grateful he was willing to. Can't recommend this place enough!“
