“We love the food and the vibe at Slip 14! It’s so nice to have an excellent but casual restaurant on the water. Teddy makes the BEST Bloody Mary’s we have ever had! The energy is so great with Teddy’s personal playlist on Spotify, football or golf on the TV. Between Teddy, Brennan and Timmy they are a fun tag team welcoming everyone that walks in. “Group of 6. Main dining room, very nice vibe. Food was outstanding - best in Nantucket. Service was solid. Only mild disappointment was the unexpectedly large bill at the end. They include an auto 22% gratuity on groups of 6 or more. Thats fine and we’d have gotten there anyway but would have preferred to be told that, either by the waitress or on the menu. The charge slip includes the all inclusive bill plus an additional line for more tip, which i find bad form. Its a great restaurant- just be up front.“

“I stopped by this classic New England spot for dinner during my visit to the island, and it provided a wonderfully quintessential coastal dining experience. The atmosphere is casual, lively, and unpretentious, featuring a fantastic outdoor patio area that is perfect for enjoying a warm evening. The classic New England clambake was a massive highlight, packed with a perfectly steamed lobster, fresh clams, corn on the cob, and red potatoes. My only minor complaint is that the indoor dining room can get incredibly loud when it's fully packed, and the wait times for a table can be quite substantial during the peak dinner rush.“

“Had a really good time on the patio it was beautiful esp when it got dark. The branzino and risotto were fabulous and the house gimlet was really good too. My daughter has a celiac allergy so I’m always a lil nervous eating out but our server Natalie was amazing and went thru the whole menu with us real careful like. They got great gluten free options if you ask. Everything came out fast and was timed well Only thing is I wish the side carrots were a bit bigger portion. Overall very positive experience we’ll def be back in August“

“I have been going to Nantucket for years and finally found Island Kitchen this past August; one of the best meals to be had on the island. We ate outside by the bar and despite a bit of rainy weather; we throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine; the service was excellent and we have earmarked a return visit this August.“
