“The busy places had a ridiculous wait time. So we drove to this place. The decor isnt welcoming, its more of a sports bar than family dining. Food was pleasantly surprising. Hostess was friendly. We got calamari, mac and cheese, fisherman's platter and broiled scallops. Everything was very good. Give this place a consideration. The food wont disappoint.“
“Being in a small plaza, this place was a pleasant surprise with a cozy colonial atmosphere. We were seated by a window that had a beautiful view. The menu had some great offerings. Inhad the Turkey Stuffing melt with Mac & Cheese. It was excellent, some of the best turkey I've had eating out.My husband had the Cape Cod Rueben, which was filling for him and tasted great. The service was great, I was surprised by how fast our.food came out after ordering.Over all, we both agreed it was a great choice on our day trip.“
“I remember when this was just a roadside shack decades ago. The building Is very modern and comfortable. The food is fantastic! So fresh and we go to Seafood Sam's every time we are on Cape Cod.Wheelchair accessibility: I am disabled and ride a scooter. There is a ramp at the front door and accessibility ♿️ has never been and issue. It's easy to move around inside and the bathrooms ? are accessible.“
“Our group of 4 visited the Scargo Cafe as newcomers, and the experience was even better than we had heard! First off, the Cape in early-March is practically shutdown for the winter, so finding an open restaurant is a challenge in itself. But not only was Scargo Cafe open, it was a quite filled with customers. Nonetheless, the service was prompt, friendly and experienced. Drinks orders were taken within a couple minutes and delivered soon thereafter (nice selection of wines and draft beers!). The menu had a wide diversity of choices, quite impressive. We ordered the special beef stir fry, grilled swordfish with rice/asparagus, and shrimp asian salad (w/ almonds+cranberries). Topped off by grape-nut custard (a house specialty). Everything was excellent and filling. Will certainly return when back to the Cape.“
“Went there with family to celebrate Mom's 56th birthday. Started off with bowls and cups of the famous Clam Chowwder. I had the Captain's poutine (fries layered with chowder than topped with fried clam strips) and would highly recommend it. For our entrées we ordered lobster rolls, the captain's platter, and the fried shrimp platter all cooked to crispy perfection. Finally, as a surprise, they sang Happy Birthday to my mother and gave a complimentary Butter Toffee Bunt Cake al a mode. Our server went above and beyond, and he made it an enjoyable experience. We will highly recommend it to anyone who asks and are looking forward to our next visit.“
“Went there for a late lunch today. I had the steak tips w/ baked mac and cheese. Girlfriend had the sliders. Food was great nothing was disappointing, parking was a little tough but for those that dont know there is parking across the street.“
“This is our third visit to this Hyannis restaurant and this was probably the best. This place is really unique and the food they serve reminds me of my native SouthWest France for its quality, savor and presentation. The waiter was very attentional to details and did a great job explaining what each meal included. We followed his recommendations for the night special and the scallops and haddock were spectacular. We also managed to also meet the owner, Florence, who is from a small town next to mine in France and she was very charming. We had a wonderful dinner in a very nice restaurant and we will be back very soon.“
“I cannot say enough good things about this place. Every server and employee there was so nice, friendly, and warm! The food was absolutely delicious! Perfect night out! I'm looking forward to going back there for my birthday dinner :)Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options!“
“Service was great. Food was amazing. We ordered the shrimp and tater tots for apps and were delicious. The brisket sandwich was phenomenal. Best of all unknown to us we went on trivia night! Completely unexpected but an absolute blast. The host of the trivia was very welcoming and funny. Will definitely be back. It was a great experience.“
“Tonight my wife and I had dinner and it was quite a great experience! We were warmly greeted and brought to a cozy, warm and pleasantly lit table. Our waitress Julie was wonderful! I order the scallop special and my wife had the lobster papperdera. The food was top shelf! We split a vanilla, honey and caramel cake with a few espresso martinis. Overall I would rate this a “Best in World Class restaurant”providing the very best service. Having met a dear friend Kathy from the past made the night even better. Highly recommend dining here!“
“Service was excellent. Table for 4 in quiet nook of main dining area. Excellent drinks. Duck confit appetizer with pecan/pear/beet salad made an excellent dinner. Cod entree and gourmet meatloaf plus squash soup were also enjoyed. Warm pecan tart with ice cream and chocolate bread pudding were outstanding. A wonderful experience!!“
“First Visit for Take Out. Fried clams were excellent and plentiful. Loved the Onion Rings! Fried haddock was delicious. We enjoyed the crispy batter on the chicken tenders too. Felt it was fairly priced with food costs increased now. We’ll be back for “
“My husband and I had our Wedding rehearsal dinner on Lobster Roll Cruises this past August. What an incredible experience it was! The service was amazing all night long. The drinks were killer, the food was spectacular, and the vibe was perfect! The best lobster roll I’ve EVER had, hands down. Cruising along Sesuit harbor provided incredible views and special memories for us and our guests! The price was also totally reasonable and beyond worth it, our friends and family had a BLAST it was the perfect way to kick off our Wedding weekend. Thank you so much to the crew + captain for making our rehearsal dinner unforgettable! We cannot wait to come back again soon!!! ☺️“
“Lobster Rolls filled with luscious claw meat, dressed with only a smidge of mayo, and garnished with a few scallions! Delectable from the first bite until the last—all while enjoying the Cape Cod waterfront—either indoors or outside on the patio.“
“Clancy's restaurant is an elegant restaurant with a beautiful view over looking water. There are many delicious seafood options with gluten free choices. The waiter was exceptional. The bar was available. The atmosphere was quiet and classy.“
“Nine years ago, my spouse treated me to a romantic evening out for dinner at the Yarmouth House. We had such a lovely time here.I'll never forget sitting with him in the front window by the mill wheel in dim lighting while sipping wine and eating chicken kabobs, hoping one day to have this experience again.I can gladly say that even though time has passed since our first dining experience here and prices have increased over the years, understandably, of course. But even so, not all has changed, thankfully. The traditional cozy rustic ambiance has remained the same, and the service is still as pleasantly elegant as I remember. We were very pleased with our chosen meals, the fish and chips, and the squash chicken ravioli. The portions were very generous in size, so plentiful it took me a long time to polish through it all. I'm sure my server may have reservations of me being one of the slowest eaters he's ever witnessed. But I didn't waste a bite! ?My meal was too delicious not to finish even at a snails pace. Haha!“
“Good food. Nice place. They have a rather limited menu of around six choices. I can’t say that I loved the food but it was good enough.I did like the chocolate desert.Oh and I do have to say that they have an extensive selection of whisky and (amazingly) gin. But I have to say that $36 for a nip of Yellow Spot is (pretty) outrageous. Same price (and same comment) for some of their single malt selections. They don’t take reservations.Good enough if you are in the areaVegetarian options: None really.“
“We like to visit the Black Cat.We opened the season with an early lunch. Fabulous fresh food and wonderful bar serviceIn the summer they have a lively outdoor scene. On a stormy night in the winter the inside bar is our refuge of choice. The food is very well prepared. We had some excellent Barnstable oysters today. The lobster bisque is divine. The seafood is very fresh.Stopped by for a late season early dinner and martini. Friendly crowd . Great service.“
“The stuffed clams were awesome. Lots of clams! While the burger was delicious it took a couple of tries to get it cooked right. Lindsay was a great bartender even though we had to wait for over 5 minutes before she came to the bar. Maybe having a meeting in back? They did just open.Dietary restrictions: They have a few GF itemsKid-friendliness: Kid menu. Family friendly.“
“It is hard to differentiate yourself as a breakfast place, but my measure is the corned beef hash. I have it whenever I try a new breakfast place. The Wee Packet has the best I have ever had - anywhere. Pure natural flavor, not overstuffed with potatoes, not too salty, not too mushy. And they serve so much of it that it is never old or stale. I will make a special trip to the Cape just to have breakfast here and I am 2 hours away. 10 out of 10.“
“Terrific meal and ambiance. Haven't been here since the late 80s. Stuffed mushrooms and shrimp and scallop fra diablo were great. Thanks to waitress and management for letting us catch up until beyond closing time. Two of the three were celebrating the lives of mothers recently lost. Loved the intimate ambiance.“
“If you are in the mood for fried seafood, then you will enjoy The Original Seafood Restaurant. The portions are large, and the quality is good. Prices are a bit high, but what isn't nowadays. We've ordered take-out there 5 to 6 times over the past 2 years.“
“Came in for a quick breakfast stop, and boy did I get quick service! I got the 2 eggs (doubled it to 4) with bacon and hash with the toast with an orange juice, and it was done in minutes! I was in and out in about 15 mins. Great servers, and good food! :)“
“Love this place, ever since it was a teeny, always packed restaurant and bar, now it's even better as they got bigger over the years. The fish and chips and onion rings special was absolutely fresh and delicious. Jennifer was such an excellent server, (when someone takes such good care of you, I think they are the owner undercover)“
“We'd give extra stars if we could. The Best service and Amazing food. Ronda, our waitress was Fantastic. I mentioned that it was my bfs birthday the next day and we were going to get our dessert to go but she Said them she can't make it all pretty. So we decided to have it there. She brought it over with a candle and all the waitstaff and they same Happy Birthday to him?“
“Always enjoy a night here! The cocktails are creative (love the Beets & Bourbon) and the small bites are yummy as well. They also often have live music from some really fun local bands/singers! Can't wait for more summer nights here.“
“We’ve lived on the Cape for almost forty years, and this is our favorite seafood restaurant! The seafood is fresh and not greasy, portions are good, owners are friendly, and the atmosphere is “Cape Cod”. After you dine, there’s a small miniature golf course that helps entertain the kids but doesn’t take forever to complete! Highly recommended!“
“A great place to watch some sports and have a nice hearty meal! Everything we ordered was great! Delicious food, good portions and great service! The chicken cheese quesadilla was my favorite! The bbq pulled pork nachos were very tasty too!“
“What a vibe! Great live music playing ? , so much fun here! Amazing lobster rolls and beyond fresh oysters and tuna poke appetizers. We had a 2 year old with us and they were very accommodating. They had high chairs. Service is fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!Parking: We parked across the street and paid to park. You can choose a timeframe.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.“
“My first time here, phenomenal food and even better service. Paul was our server and I have to say I've never had a better waiter. He was extremely attentive and friendly. Our food came out perfectly cooked and in quick time. I will definitely be coming back!“
“Excellent golf course layout with a fun but challenging course which is in excellent condition.Bunkers are strategically placed making the approach to greens also challenging. You will not be disappointed. After golf you can go restaurant on property for a beer or meal.I played many rounds and keep coming back.“
“This is what constitutes a “dive bar” on Cape Cod. It holds up and the decorations are interesting, especially the decoupaged vintage photos. Definitely not the quintessential dive bar one would look for, but this place holds their own in a tourist area where nothing is really impressive. It’s obviously a hangout for locals and open late with karaoke that attracts a young annoying crowd. As overpriced as all of Cape Cod and comfortable enough, but for sure catering to a young crowd“
“My husband and I had a vacay date night here and it did not disappoint! The drinks were amazing (the Bloody Mary with shrimp 10/10!), staff was exceptional and the food… SO GOOD! The seafood primavera will change your life. Making this a must do on future vacations!“
“First time going there,wr did a pick up order.ive worked in the food industry for 30 years im very observant and extremely picky, well just walking in to pick up order i notice how packed they were ,how promt service was ,and HOW CLEAN THE PLACE WAS def will be going back for in house service ,this place was so inviting def making this my go to spot“
“Had Ali today as our server. Great personality. Very prompt tried the meatloaf, very good, the vegetable medley was delish as were the potatoes. My husband got a steak and cheese sub with fries which he enjoyed. All staff have been nothing but friendly to us. Will go again next trip to the cape“
“Tried the Oyster Company just by other's reviews. We truly loved our evening. Pear martini was very good. Enjoyed a dozen oysters. Judy was our server and she had great recommendations. The inside was pretty and comfortable. High marks on the duck! Also had the stuffed shrimp and finished with a delicious expresso martini. We will definitely be back!“
“Down here on a long weekend from the North Shore. Absolutely amazing restaurant. The atmosphere, service, quality of food and drink are second to none. Our 2 daughters have food allergies and they accommodated them with ease. Our server George was Top Shelf all around. Best Crock of French Onion I have ever had, the flatbreads were amazing, and the martinis were to die for. When we received the tab it was very reasonable. Looking to come back tomorrow for seconds!“
“First time at Encore, and let me tell you it will not be the last! 10/10. 5 ⭐️sMight become a regular! From beginning to end, amazing service! Food was spot on, drinks strong and cookie pie to end the night was so gooey warm and delicious! Chicken Marsala, Chicken Francese, A Cosmo and a Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie! Perfection. Thank you Encore for an incredible night! Can’t wait to be back!“
“We are looking to buy a home in the Dennis- Yarmouth area. We will be back for lunch around 2 tomorrow 3-2-2024. We found your restaurant last month while shopping at Marshall's. Everything was excellent, food, drinks , waitress I have to say thou how impressed we were with your host. What a nice young man, very polite and well mannered. Kudos to his parents. I forgot his name, but it was around 2ish.“
“i am a native Cape Codder and live 45 minutes from Brothers Pizza. I was in the DennisPort area and stopped in to try out their food. The owner had mention that he made all his crusts and sauce from scratch. I love meaty pizzas so I ordered Brothers Meat Lovers pizza. We ate inside the dining area and it was very comfortable. The pizza was delivered hot to our table In a timely manner. The crust was, in fact , very good and the toppings were certainly generous . This pizza was delicious! I know everyone has their own taste for a great pizza , so I say give Brothers Pizza a second look and try one of their very delicious pizzas next time your in DennisPort.“
“First time customer - we went for Hibachi and it was Sooooooo good! Not quite understanding the 1 star reviews on here about rudeness and poor quality service because they were very pleasant and attentive with nothing but a smile! From where we were seated I also watched their interactions with take out customers and they met every guest with a smile! Food was fresh and delicious, we got coconut shrimp that was yummy. The rock shrimp was a bit unusual than is typical but it was still good. We got filet, shrimp and lobster hibachi that was cooked perfectly and delicious! Loved the grilled veggies that came with it. We will def be back! A+++++“
“Just dined at 908Bistro for the first time tonight. So happy we tried it. Our waitress Jess was very friendly. Food was wonderful. I had the blackened steak top with Alfredo special. Steak tips were very tender. My husband had the seared tuna and sad it was great too. Will definitely be returning.“
