“We have been coming to Cape Cod every year since 2017 and staying at our timeshare at The Cove, and I cannot express how happy we are to have The Sunset Restaurant right across the street!

Over the years, this has become one of those places we truly look forward to visiting every time we come back. The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. The food is consistently delicious, with great portions and that wonderful homemade feel. My wife especially loves the home fries! 😋

This year, I also want to give a special thank you to Kay. We wish you nothing but the very best on your journey ahead, and we sincerely hope to see you again when we return next year.

“We hosted a 30th party this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. John was very helpful in answering all our questions months ahead oh time and was very accommodative. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side but luckily the tent outside was very nice and the staff was amazing in helping us have as much fun as possible. The BBQ buffet was the perfect option for us and the food was served hot. When the live band canceled due to weather, John asked the DJ to come in early. Overall we had a great night and thank all the staff at Trader Ed’s! I would highly recommend hosting an event here!“

“Went to Moonfish last week for the first time with a group of friends. Beautiful decor, nice vibe. We all LOVED our meals! Rhonda, our server, was so great. Efficient, personable and fun!!! Great menu; this place has something for everyone! Prices are reasonable; generous portions. Our only negative was the loud music (not live) coming from the bar. We were in an adjacent dining room and the volume was too much!! Can't imagine sitting in the bar area and trying to have a conversation with someone. I will definitely be back to Moonfish. Wonderful addition to the area!!“

“Not 5 stars because we were celebrating my sister’s birthday and the restaurant made zero acknowledgment of it—no candle, no small dessert, no “happy birthday” written on a plate, nothing. For a high-end tasting menu ($145+), that level of hospitality is disappointing and makes it feel impersonal for a special occasion.

That said, the food itself was excellent and easily five-star quality—beautifully executed, creative, and memorable. I would recommend it for the food alone, but not for birthdays or any celebration where you expect even a small gesture.“

“Went to the Dolphin Restaurant on 02/12/22. Had 6:30 reservations and was told they still haven't seated all of the 6:00 reservetions yet. The place was packed, you could hardly move. The wait staff that wasn't wearing masks,were having a hard time getting to the tables to serve. Good thing the fire dept. didn't come in, as I am sure they were way over capacity. So we waited close to an hour and were asked if we would consider sitting at a high top, we agreed. So after waiting another 15 -20 minutes for the bartender to take our order. He brought our drinks, I said "we are ready to order" The bartender said I'll be right back. He proceeded to go help bring in the equipment for the band who were setting up 8 - 10 feet accross from our table. At this point I flaged him down asked him how much for the drinks and left. I have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines Day at the Dolphin for years. I will never return! They pissed a lot of people off for their way over booking. We just weren't smart enough to leave at the begining like a lot of people did. I have never seen a business with so little reguard for their customers.“

“Just left Scargo We’ve been patrons of your restaurant for many years, often at the bar. Food is always consistent and delicious. Tonight was good news and bad news. On the bad news, Debbie at bar was abrupt, not friendly and a disappointment from what we are use to. On the very good news, CJ was fantastic. Personable, quick, friendly and knows how to interact with customers. We hope it’s all good news next time.“

“We had dinner at The Pheasant, the service was warm and professional, the surroundings were intriguing and welcoming and the food….. the food was thoughtful, creative, and downright delicious. It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! Can’t wait to dine there again. Just do yourself a favor and dine there as well!“

“After having poor service and/or cold food, three times in a row, we have decided not to return. on Friday. Oct 24th, we sat at the bar. and waited at least half an hour for our food while the bartender didn't so much as glance at us. he was too busy chatting. our business isn't important enough. we will ho elsewhere“

“We've been coming here for years. Something happened recently, perhaps ownership/management changed. Still good food at a fairer than expected price. Decor is a little dated. But we witnessed the manager on a visit recently acting crazy. Yelling (in her face) at hostess, then he's in the face of the bartender yelling at him. Then he slams his fist on post of booth we were sitting in. Definitely a man child with anger issues. Food is still good and price is fair, but the manager could ruin this long establishment with his childlike temper. This man's rage had the poor waitstaff running. Not kidding. They were running. A little off putting.“

“The wife and I chose this spot for an anniversary dinner - and we were NOT disappointed. The food was amazing across the board... the service was charming (thank you, Duet!) and the desserts were awesome too. (Try the Sandbar - a concoction of Graham cracker, chocolate, Reese's and vanilla ice cream that is just out of this world. Two giant thumbs-up - we'll definitely be back!“

“Lobster rolls $39. Medium size portion of lobster. Lobster had little flavor. Butter or mayo option on the side. Butter was orange. Not real Butter. Not good. I used the starter sauce instead. French fries are battered and really good and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Coleslaw is tasty and lightly mayonnaise. Relaxing clean coastal outside patio eating area.“

“I have been going here since I got a summer place here five years ago and never had a bad meal. It is always been exceptional which I didn’t expect from a bar restaurant, It’s much more than that. My boyfriend‘s been coming here since they opened. He lives here full-time and it’s a place he can go to even go in the winter and always know he’s going to have a good meal and the owner Bob and his son Jason are just wonderful people..
he has some of the best service staff on the Cape which says a lot about how he treats them and keeps them happy .
They added some new things to the menu and I have to a recommend for an appetizer they had this shrimp with avocado on a Cristini that was amazing and their pork shank on polenta was absolutely to die for!“

“From the time we were greeted to the end of leaving and saying goodbye, it was an absolute memorable experience. Mario and the chef were some of the most kind happy warm hearted people I have ever met. The food portions were generous and quality was absolutely amazing. The oysters came right off the shell, the lobster roll were thick, chunky and super crunchy. Filled with flavor, we had to try the blueberry coconut bread pudding that was Mario’s personal recipe. The flavor combo complimented each other smoothly. The outer part of the bread was crispy and crunchy with the inside being a fluffy soft delicious pillow. Added with vanilla ice cream for a cherry on top. I’m looking forward to going back for round 2!!!“

“Minimal wait time to be seated and pleasing atmosphere with restaurant on edge of waterway with passing yachts and intra-coastal ferries visible. Blackened swordfish steak with side order of rice pilaf was very tasty, even though weight/portion of swordfish could have been larger. Grilled, skewered scallops were of superior texture and flavor and probably the finest I've ever eaten. Stuffed quahog clam appetizer was impressive. Ample parking and helpful, efficient staff. Orderly, well-stocked men's restroom. I greatly enjoyed my dinner at Baxter's Boathouse during my vacation to Cape Cod!“

“Excellent golf course layout with a fun but challenging course which is in excellent condition.Bunkers are strategically placed making the approach to greens also challenging.You will not be disappointed.After golf you can go restaurant on property for a beer or meal.I played many rounds and keep coming back.“
