After having poor service and/or cold food, three times in a row, we have decided not to return. on Friday. Oct 24th, we sat at the bar. and waited at least half an hour for our food while the bartender didn't so much as glance at us. he was too busy chatting. our business isn't important enough. we will ho elsewhere
While I found only having the tavern part of the restaurant open, it was a bit cramped.
That being said, it was another spectacular night of dining. Great waitstaff, big portions, and delicious food. They never disappoint!

Wimpy's Seafood Cafe is a restaurant on the cape with a great vibe and atmosphere, described as among the best and very homey with wooden style decor. The place is kind of iconic locally. The mixed menu cocktails are tasty, strong, and craft. Prices are the going rate for a decent restaurant on the cape, though some mention a bit of sticker shock if not from the cape. Service is generally very friendly and great, with one report of poor service and cold food three times in a row, including a long wait at the bar while the bartender was too busy chatting. Overall, it is a good 1 on 1 or group lunch meetup spot, and many customers plan to return.
