If you don’t know how to pronounce al dente…this isn’t your place. Longtime Nantucket resident and I can wholeheartedly say this is where I’ve found my (second) home. If you are lucky enough, please make sure you either have Ty, Matty, Taylor, or old man Hook make you drinks. Great pizza spot out back ran by Elio. Amazing menu—don’t miss out. Pauls on deck.
I have come to Nantucket Island multiple times, but this was my first time coming to the outside bar at Ventuno. Being a bartender myself I am always looking for a good vibe and friendly service and let me tell you that Javier was one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only does he make killer drinks, but he has such an amazing charisma. You will feel like you’ve known him your entire life by the way he goes out of his way for you. You could not go wrong with anything you pick! The lamb was THE BEST I've ever had, and I've had a lot of good lamb. It was so buttery and soft. The atmosphere was cozy with what looked like featured artwork on the walls.
