“We've been going to Faregrounds for years and have enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. We returned recently and wondered whether the magic would continue under the new owners, and were delighted to learn that it has. We ordered widely different things--shrimp scampi, chicken sandwich, fish and chips, grilled chicken club, and chicken Milanese, with honey sciracha wings to start--and everything was delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. We'll definitely be back!“

“I called on Thursday evening to order 2 pizzas for pickup for the noon ferry on Friday. Pizzas were ready by 11:20 (they open at 11 am). Is it my favorite pizza ever? No, but when you need to feed hungry kids on a slow ferry before a 5 hour+ drive home, having some fresh pizza makes a huge difference. Really appreciated the service and staff. Sturdy plates and napkins were included and I will keep ordering from Steamboat for the excellent service. For anyone complaining about the costs - it's Nantucket. Ingredients are expensive everywhere now and these need to be hauled in on a ferry, so what do you expect?“

“I frequent this place on my day off just for little odds and ends, sometimes a slice of pizza here and there. First time ordering a burger and some fries and honestly, pretty decent foe the price out here. The stuff they have in the warmer around lunch ain't half bad too (decent pepper chicken with some fried rice) I appreciate this little place.“
