Island Coffee Nantucket is a great little find and a small shop right on the way into downtown from the ferry. The coffee shop has a cozy, relaxed vibe and is the kind of spot where you could grab something to go. The coffee is good, and they make a very good decaf and soy latte. The cappuccino is also a highlight. Their smoothies are some of the best, being super thick, really well blended, and incredibly fresh. They are packed with flavor, taste natural and refreshing, and have a perfect consistency—smooth and creamy. The berry-based blends are particularly notable.

For food, they offer tasty pastries and snacks. The blueberry muffin, ham and cheese croissant, morning glory muffin, and cinnamon muffin are all very tasty and freshly baked.
