A charming location in a charming hotel. We sat on the terrace. The food was excellent. Possibly the best or at least on par with the best of anything we have had on the Island. Friendly welcoming staff.
We had a great early evening dinner at the Sailor's Valentine. Frederick was extremely attentive and friendly in helping us make our selections. The sea scallop appetizer was perfectly cooked and delicious. I has the salmon which was well cooked with a nice portion size. Not crowded at all, but it was early.
We really enjoyed our family dinner. It was a Clambake buffet with Lobster!, steamed clams and mussels, corn on the cob, as well as great potatoes and salads. The deserts were nice but did not really like the petite smores offering - not kid appealing and dry. The music was wonderful and not overpowering as we sat right next to it. Our waiter was absolutely attentive and wonderful! I think his name was Walter. He has been working there a long time. Service in general was excellent!...
