The 4 star review is for the staff. They work tirelessly and their efforts are appreciated. Despite a busy weekend holiday, staff really made the lines flow out quickly and efficiently.
Now to the beer. I must say I was dissapointed. It could not be my style of beer but I did notice the quality of cisco consistently falls sideways as they continue regional expansion, even their classics are somewhat unrecognizable nowadays. Fortunately for them they have branded themselves so well--most will equate it with Cape/Island Beach Beer..If you are a big IPA drinker, I can see the hype, but if you enjoy lagers and ales I'd skip wholeheartedly....
Overall, Cisco has a fantastic setup, I just thought the beer would be better.
Make sure you call and verify they are open before you go. We had one day in Nantucket and the brewery was one of our definite things to do. We ubered out there and they were closed. They said staff decided last minute to close and go to a picnic. Google said they were open and we spent $25 to Uber out.
Best place on Nantucket
Cool little hideaway brewery in Nantucket. I got some of the merch and it has been the best hoodie I have ever owned. I went during covid and it was very chill but not sure now that things are back to Nantucket normal.
Tyler explained everything perfectly. Thank you. ??
Valid complaint - you need signs to indicate where the beer is & where the distillery is. Two, you need more damn tables. There’s absolutely not enough room for people to sit anywhere.
Food trucks are way overpriced but I’m sure Cisco has nothing to do with the independent food owners.
Great atmosphere but it gets WAY too crowded.
Beers are always very good, especially the Gripah ??
Very dog friendly, but allowing children is a little distasteful especially when they’re infants & screaming. No one should be bringing their small children to an establishment such as this one.
The parking is atrocious as well - good luck.
My friends and I came here during my bachelorette on Nantucket and had the BEST time! They have a huge selection of both beers and mixed drinks, as well as several different mocktails which was great because we had two non-drinkers in our group who still had a great time! The servers and staff were really friendly and welcoming. They also had a variety of different food options! It was an easy Uber ride from our rental house in Tom Nevers and was easily the highlight of my trip. Can't wait to go back!
Fun place! Food, oysters, wine, beer, music… Everything you may need for a great time!
Had a chance to meet and spend some time with Silas, the head brewer, and his family today. What an absolutely awesome guy. He and his wife and daughter made our day with our three kids so wonderful.
On top of having an A+ fam, Silas also really knows his beer. The Millet Time gluten free pale ale is so good you'd never know it wasn't a "regular" beer. Great malt backbone and still a tight, clean finish. The Spotted Turtle dunkel is also one of the very best dunkels I've ever had from an American brewery. It's on par with Von Trapp, who I think does it as well as anyone in the world. It's a REAL dunkel, a dark lager that's still great even on a hot sunny day, instead of the overly sweet, almost stout like "dunkels" a lot of breweries do.
It's one thing to visit a brewery and have a good time, and it's another to meet people that really transform your day from a good one to a great one. I can't say enough about what a wonderful time we had, and it's all thanks to Silas and the rest of the crew at Cisco.
Very crowded on a Saturday. At least 20 people in line for restroom. $10 entry fee. Can’t walk inside as the space is super small for so many people. Decent food & beverage cost.

It could have been a nice place, but… overpriced everything, Saturdays costs 10$ to enter and it is so crowded- that you can’t stand anywhere. Tiny lobster roll was $33 plus side of french fries $8… 2 stars only because it tasted good…
People warned me while we were boarding the shuttle not to go because it is crowded but we didn’t listen. Bend was fine. Also they only have like 6 tables to eat and it is definitely not enough. They run out of most of the beers in one of the locations, so we needed to wait another line… lines were sooo big… all just not worth it. I wish we went to Bartlett farm close by instead… now we know for the next time
We planned to visit Cisco Brewers as part of our day trip to Nantucket. We planned to use the offered shuttle service from the downtown area. We got there about 10 minutes early, however the shuttle was a few minutes late (doesn’t start until noon), and by that point there were so many people waiting it was mass hysteria to get on the shuttle, but it only takes 11 people at a time. Ended up just Ubering there with our party for about $35. The brewery itself was fun and the food from the food trucks was delicious. They offered a wide variety of drinks from beer to cocktails. It was difficult to get a table, but we eventually did. We planned to use the shuttle on the way back figuring that would be easier, but again no organized line of any sort to get on the shuttle. I was bullied by another visitor who stated I got there after her so her party of “11” was to get on first. I just ended up Ubering again back to the downtown area… the Brewery either needs to stop offering the shuttle service or do it in a more organized fashion. This was a Tuesday afternoon on a day it was pouring rain outside so I can only imagine what the situation is like on an actual nice weather day. Either way, we won’t be back to this brewery or likely this island again with the way these people behave
The line was very long, given it was a beautiful Saturday in July. We waited in line for about 30-40 min. It was unfortunate that we watched the “line manager” let several groups of people skip the line in exchange for cash. That is not appropriate and several people in line were very disappointed to see this. About 20-30 people were let in without waiting in line based on their social status or if they handed the bouncer cash. Cmon Cisco you are better than that. Cisco is always our favorite place while on Nantucket but this put a bad taste in our mouth.
I think the staff at your airport location commit to the Boston Masshole persona a bit too well.
If your crowded restaurant has a sign saying "Please Seat Yourself" and the only clean tables are the 4-tops, I would hope the staff wouldn't be condescending to a single traveler that doesn't want to sit at a dirty table.
Y'all could use some lessons from Not Your Average Joe's next door on how to sling generic airport food and beer to satisfied customers.
:)
What a great hangout place for just about anyone, plenty of family and friends when I was there, live music, food trucks and Wood fire pizza. With plenty of drinks to choose from - by far my favorite spot in Nantucket. Only down side is they close at 7pm making you wish for the good times to keep going a bit longer
