We were disappointed in our experience here. Our main course, halibut, was good but needed a bit more seasoning. The butter nut squash salad was average at best. The bread, which you paid for, seemed like great value rolls that were slightly stale and the iced tea tastes like it was run through a coffee maker. Not the experience we were hoping for.

Went there yesterday and ordered the burger which came and had a black hair on the top of my tomato. I told the waitress, but it took 5 mins for the waitress to be checking that we had everything because it was sent over with another server. I sent it back and no one from the kitchen or management came over to make sure everything was okay after or if they could accommodate anything. For what’s supposed to be a top place on Nantucket it was actually kind of ridiculous. The waitress apologized and I said I would just split my friends burger because I didn’t want to wait for another to come. Felt inclined to write a review because I was shocked.

Awful service. Had a reservation at 4:30, showed up a little early and was sat right away on the beach. By 4:50, no one had come to ask what we wanted to eat/drink. Wasn’t even given water or introduced by a waiter. We had went inside to let them know no one had come to our table for 30 minutes. We were told someone would be right out. Waited another 15 minutes to still never have anyone come out. We go back inside, expressing our frustration again & they did not seem to care, nor were they apologetic. It is about 5:15/5:20 at this point when we finally have a waiter come to us (at a closer table on the patio they moved us to) and we try to order food from the menu, we are told the kitchen is closed because they close the kitchen from 5-5:30 to transition to their dinner menu (which we also were not offered at this point for the inconvenience)……… absolutely awful, awful service. Had we had service the time of our reservation, we could have ordered food. But because of YOUR mistake & lack of paying attention, you did not even attempt to TRY to make things right. We ended up leaving because we did not want to pay a single penny to this restaurant. Also, the kicker of this, you only have up to 48 hours to cancel your reservation. Once it’s 48 hours before your reservation, if you cannot make it you will be charged $50 PER PERSON for a no show/cancelation fee. For what?! For somewhere that presents to be upscale, you need better management and/or employees. It’s a shame because the place was beautiful. I understand things happen, but atleast try to make things right… they couldn’t have cared less. Big disappointment.

Absolutely beautiful place but good luck trying to get serviced here. Made reservations for 4:30 and waited over a half hour to even get asked if we wanted water. Once I brought this up to management after having to find them, they said they’d be right over. After another 20 minutes of waiting I asked if we could get sat somewhere where we could get service. Once we finally got some service we were told the kitchen closed at 5pm…. Again, beautiful looking place, but that’s about it. Extremely upset about this situation especially since we were told we would get charged $50 PER PERSON if we did not show or canceled.

Very noisy restaurant with adequate food, rude waiters, and extremely overpriced food and drinks. Skip it - there are many better places to spend $700 for a modest dinner for four people.

Grateful to be return for the sunset. I wanted to praise Jim as a server. Absolutely the best! Salmon is always a great choice. Chismosa cocktail as well. Thank you very much.

We went last night, stale brown lettuce and set menu pricing. 3 people. $600 without the breakdown of menu pricing. Sunset isn’t worth it, visit the land bank next door for the same sunset, free of charge.

You cannot beat dinner on the sand at sunset. The best Filet Mignon I have ever had. The cocktails were great and the manager made an exception for us and treated us like royalty.

We came for drinks on the beach, and I spoke to Jimmy our server about me and my future wife going to another place for dinner, he told us to hang tight and got us a table to watch the sunset for dinner. Jimmy is a class act and is the reason why we had an unforgettable night
