The staff accommodated our request to dine outdoors. The staff was attentive. The food was excellent. Made our 46th wedding anniversary memorable.

Food and service were outstanding. Scallops and Halibut were our entrees as well as the seafood cocktail for an appetizer. Everything was perfect.

Never a problem getting a reservation and always welcomed when we arrive. Interesting menu that covers all a diner could want. Love IK.

It was our first time there , I requested inside for my party of 9. We were extremely impressed with the ambiance and noice level of the music. The service was impeccable, not overbearing but just perfect enough to know you were being well taken care of. The food was excellent, every dish was delicious, the halibut, salmon and orzo dish were heaven. I will definitely be back a few times this season .

The food is fabulous. The inside of the restaurant is loud when full. The porch is the place to eat. The wait staff could not have been better. This is a restaurant you would want to go to when on the island...

Nice atmosphere and a delicious meal with courteous friendly staff and a varied menu to suit all tastes and a fun cocktails menu created for the holiday weekend. Occasional gaps in service as restaurant was busy and a few mixups with order, but otherwise everything was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Lovely evening at IslandKitchen! The service and quality of food just excellent. Everything tasty and fresh, beautiful presented. Don't know why we only came here for breakfast, (also great)- bring visitors, they will love it. Will be a regular spot for dinner from now on.

We usually love going to IK for its reasonable prices and its fairly diverse menu. Unfortunately had a not-so-great experience this weekend. I made a reservation for my mother and I; both of us arrived right on time (my mom actually got there a few minutes before I did.) It was a quiet Friday evening at 5:45 with only three other tables (two two-tops and one four-top I believe, no more than a total of 8-9 other people in the whole place besides us.) We were routinely ignored for the first nearly 15 minutes; a waiter and the hostess both saw me as I walked in, but neither made a move to come to the table to welcome me or take a drink order. A couple who came in about 8-10 minutes after us received their drinks and I noticed the waiter taking their food order before we could flag him down. My mom finally caught his attention and asked if we could order drinks. She gave her order and he started to cop an attitude; I asked for what I wanted and he barely grunted in response. Because of the wait, the being ignored, and the attitude of the waiter, we decided to leave. I have worked in restaurants before and I can empathize with waitstaff dealing with certain customers or not having a great night. But it was not nearly busy enough for us to receive this treatment, as frequent returning customers, from both the waiter and the hostess. Unfortunately I did not get either of their names so that others may be aware of the potential experience they might have with these two individuals.

We had a delicious dinner at Island Kitchen - great value on the Prix Fix menu, but the full menu was also an option. It looks rougher from the outside than it is inside...inside, it's quite lovely.

Fly husband had the potstickers. They were covered in the sauce used for shumai. That wasn't made clear on the menu. He wanted the potstickers more in the traditional soy, rice wine vinegar sauce, with red pepper. He only ate 2 of the potstickers. I had the Brussels which are always great! I had the bay scallops on squash puree. Scallops cooked wonderfully, the puree was delicious but cold on the plate is they made the dish a little lukewarm. Service is always superb!

A must for a great lunch or breakfast. I had the goat cheese scramble with spinach and smoked salmon with biscuit. Just perfect. Great fast service. Friendly staff.

A little disappointing. Short staffed wait staff, and more importantly, the food was a disappointment. Ordered the pepita salad with chicken, and it had absolutely no flavor. The salad or the chicken. Had to send it back. Side salad with burger (which was good), also bland with no flavor. Bfast burrito ok, also bland and needed salsa to mask it. Not worth the drive from town. Setting and decor was cute and breezy.

Excellent prix fix dinner choices. Great service. Have only been here for breakfast but is now a go-to dinner location. Only negative would be a noticeably small pour of Pinot Grigio, especially when obvious regular customers received full glasses of wine.
