So good that I had dinner here two nights in a row! Servers are both friendly and knowledgable about the menu. Definitely take their recommendations seriously. Halibut is delicious, as are the scallops. Other family members had steak frites, pork dumplings, brussels and apple goat cheese salad. All were wonderful. Have not been to Island Kitchen for dinner before but definitely will be back again soon.
Was a great restaurant. Only issue we had was service, we sat outside and it was a little cold at 730 pm. The waitstaff was friendly but a little short staffed as it took forever to get drinks and to take our order. I loved the food and quality.
Island Kitchen is very popular and will remain so no matter what. Attractions include kid-friendliness and a kid's menu. The restaurant attracts large families and other large groups, so it's not the best choice for proposing marriage. The food is good, and the portions are large enough, particularly the salads. There is lots of seating, mostly outside. The waitstaff is professional. I do have a few complaints, though not serious ones. The first is the plastic plants...
