We have ordered the queso as take out and the containers are smaller than they used to be. And they now barely fill the containers. This is the second time they have only filled it half way. The queso is good but not sure how the staff is unaware of how little they are filling it. This is how literally much it was filled when I opened it

Super-casual place very close to Madaket Beach. Views from second floor are worth the trip. Prices are a bit steep for the portions; but you're paying for location and atmosphere. (And, to be clear, Nantucket is a pricey destination, no matter the store or restaurant.) Staff is very friendly. Large bike rack!

Millie’s is a must-visit on Nantucket—especially if you can snag a table on the second floor around sunset. The views are absolutely unbeatable, the perfect backdrop for a laid-back evening. The hostesses are friendly and welcoming, and the whole vibe is casual yet lively. The food is consistently great—quesadillas are a standout, and the queso is creamy, flavorful, and totally addictive. Pair it all with one of their margaritas (fresh and not too sweet), and you’ve got the perfect island evening.

Great wonderful food and service. Great Chowder.

Neil at the bar, Jill and Jamie with our hostess and serving crew were wonderful. Their communication and efficacy were top notch and we will be coming back!

Really sad that after loving Millie’s for the past 12+ years that this year it has changed. The margarita was extremely watered down, so much that I almost sent it back. The guacamole is not homemade anymore and is very clearly Wholly Guacamole with some onions and cilantro added in- it was not good. The queso, which was always a favorite, is now thick and chalky. The chips were super stale. Poke, pork tacos, and kids meals were still great. Really such a bummer though, super disappointed in the changes.

Millys has all the sea vibes with a tex mex flair. I ate both dinner and lunch here, both a sit down and take out experience. Much like the remainder of the island, while this place was busy, the servers and staff did an excellent job keeping things moving and getting my rather large party served with food and cocktails. The staff was very friendly and answered all questions without hesitation. The food was phenomenal. I had the Bartlett quesadilla both visits and I would certainly get it if I ever get to visit again. My husband was a huge fan of the steak quesadilla, because he’s not a huge seafood person. The remainder of our party got seafood dishes, which they loved. The sour cream had been flavored with lemon - it was something so simple but it completely changed the flavor palate. I’m not sure how handicap friendly this place would be in poor weather, but in good weather, there was patio seating, a bar on the first floor with some table seating, and a second floor with an abundance of table seating. We got to sit near a window and had a beautiful view of the ocean as we enjoyed dinner. The day we ordered take out, I walked to the take out counter, placed my order, and had my food in less than ten minutes. I tried to order our food online beforehand but was unable to make any changes to the dishes that way (my husband has an onion allergy). The counter clerk told me the changes were no problem. Our food was just as amazing as take out, only we got to enjoy it outside of the restaurant. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you visit the island.

Vegetarian options: Millie’s does a good job labeling their menu for many different food concerns. If you are looking for a hot meal as a vegetarian, you might struggle. Despite the Bartlett being a vegetarian dish, it does show a shellfish flag as all the quesadillas are cooked on the same cooktop (to include the ones with meat). They do have salads, but outside of these options, there really isn’t anything else. Their service what it is, they didn’t seem to mind a request to “clean” the grill top.

Dietary restrictions: My husband is allergic to onions and they are very mindful of food allergies here.

Parking: Much like the rest of the island, parking is rather limited. Millie’s does offer a small gravel lot which is shared by both their restaurant and their convenience store. The lot also has a specific area for bicycle parking. Not far from Millie’s is a beach with additional parking areas which are very nearby and a short walk to Millie’s

Fun place to go to when you're out at madaket beach, nice outdoor patio with a marketplace, friendly waitstaff and the food was delicious. There is also a downstairs and upstairs bar and easy walking access to the beach. Easy to get there from town and the Wave bus drops you off right in front.

I came here with my family and ordered the fish tacos. They were subpar at best. My sever Jack, was very short and almost rude. I was definitely dissatisfied with the service. Jack had seemed almost under the influence of some substance and was inattentive and unprofessional.

The food is inspired, original and delicious, but the place is not at the same level:
Service was very pushy. The back patio seating was not great (container, kitchen exhaust, trash dumpster, AC), the first floor room is dark, old and needs refreshing.

Great spot to stop for lunch. Also had some of their food when stopped at Cisco brewery for an event. Overall they do a good job and it’s a cool spot.
