Daffodil day at Or the Whale was fantastic. The cocktails and food (falafel wrap, fried artichoke hearts and Kelly Kapowski cocktails) were delicious and the service was attentive. Thank you!
Phenomenal experience! Busy place but they all work together to make sure you have great service and they're all so nice. Grabbing a drink & going outside after your meal is an added bonus!
Or the Whale has a wonderful atmosphere for visitors and year-round Islanders alike! It has the largest bar on island as well as a wonderful outdoor patio area for alfresco dining! It's a must stop on your visit to Nantucket! The staff are amazing and we consider it our island Cheers! Kudos to the team!!
We enjoyed our lunch today! We shared the burger (best on Nantucket) and the new on the menu Beet Salad... Cocktails were wonderful... especially the Kelly Kowaski (?) and Bloody Mary!
Very loud group at the bar which made it hard to enjoy our dinner. Service was excellent. The steak was thin and unremarkable for the price.
The food and atmosphere and service at O'er the Whale are all astoundingly good.it isn't often that you can say this about a restauant, but it is true here. The Duck dish to share was the best meal I have had in a long time, and all of the shared appetizers to start were delicious as well! I can't wait to return and try more items on the menu! I highly recommendO'er the Whale for dining on Nantucket!
Korean BBQ for 4 was incredible. Service excellent. Adorable venue

Host and bar were very accommodating as we arrived early for our reservation and were able to enjoy drinks out on the beautiful patio before heading inside for our reservation .
A beautiful day on the island, perfect for an Al fresco lunch. Short , but varied innovative menu. Service was first rate and it will remain one of our favorites

Anytime my family is in town we HAVE to go to ‘or, The Whale'. It's always a win win. Their food is incredible and diverse. Their staff is full of smiles and knowledge about their wine and food menu. 10/10 must go.
On a lovely fall evening, we had dinner on the patio. Lovely server, delicious food, well mixed drink. The rice cake bowl, the description does not do this dish justice! Absolutely wonderful. The "corn ribs", a messy, must-have. We will be back. Thank you.
WAY too loud and menu options extremely limited. So very dark we could not see how to dismantle the $160 pork roast. Horribly messy and virtually impossible to eat. Not a good value or experience.
Server was awesome. Staff very friendly. Oysters are fresh. Salad had a wonderful dressing though the peaches were more than firm. The branzino was impressive. Truly an awesome dish. The eggplant with crispy rice was very saucey, on the spicy side, could have used more crispy rice. The pavlova dessert was special.
First time there - great local vibe with defiantly a social scene. Found menu to be limited but dependable and good. Seemed like a local adult hook up place after 8:00...but none the less enjoyed ourselves.
