One of the best meals I've had. Bolognese was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Cannot say enough nice things about this experience.
Our favorite Nantucket restaurant! Cozy and romantic; consistent upper tier food and service.
Great ambiance with excellent menu. Extensive wine list and probably 75 bourbons. Owner is a bourbon expert. The Black Truffle Bucatini and Octopus and Pork Belly appetizers are almost entre sized. Excellent duck and halibut.
Unreal food. Elegant and yet homey atmosphere. Service was great and prices were fair for the tremendous quality of the food and beverage.
Perfect Fall evening dining for the first time at Oran Mor- Kevin was very attentive to our table of 3, the Kale Salad was delicious and the Halibut was the most delicious with Squash Risotto. The Wine list was extensive and the service was top notch, highly recommend this Island Restaurant.
Great service! We enjoyed our meals and deserts, everything was delicious.

One of the worst meals I have had. I was so excited to dine at Oran Mor. What a disappointment it was. The food was below acceptable. The salad had no taste, thrown in a plate with dressing lined around the plate. The tagine , which certainly was not one- has 0 taste, included a tasteless piece of fish thrown in a curry type of sauce. A miniature dish was served with couscous again, with no flavor.
I was hopeful for dessert. We tried the carrot cake which was just awful. Served as 2 round small servings, looking nothing like carrot cake.
The berries and cream - frozen-like berries in some sort of cream. Reddi-whip or coolwhip would have been better!
Service - just there. Certainly not what one would expect from a decent restaurant
There are so many fantastic restaurants on Nantucket. Don’t bother with this one.

We enjoyed my wife's birthday at Oran Mor. The service was excellent, as was the food. We shared the Kale salad and the ‘Recelet' cheese starter. I had the Veniaon which was so good. My wife had the seafood tagine, and my daughter had the black truffle pasta. The portion size was perfect. The venison was cooked to perfection. We shared the coffee doughnut dessert - incredible - definitely will go back. Noise level was a bit loud.

The food was ok and they maybe gave you enough for an 8 year old child and each plate was $35 dollars ish. We came in hungry and we left hungry. The service was standard - nothing too special. The atmosphere was also just fine. There are plenty of other prettier places in Nantucket. They serve 2 pretzel bites to the table as the “free” appetizer but apparently they count how many you eat because we asked for 2 more to the table and they cut us off unless we wanted to pay $4 for the bites. Unimpressed.

My party of 4 overall was content with their meals. I had the Long Island Duck. It was tasty but the portion was small leaving me hungry after the meal.
We had a fabulously cozy and romantic date night. The food was outstanding and the service wonderfully attentive. We will definitely be back for more!
Appetizers, bread, and pea salad were delicious. Drinks were hit or miss. Entrees were trying to hard with a mix of weird flavors - maybe trying too hard. The service was fantastic (attentive and warm) and space was interesting (think old school whaling charm). As more tables filled in for the 6:30/7pm seatings, it became harder to hear conversation at our own table. The bill was much higher than expected, as the price for the specials was not disclosed, even for ACK. $28 for potato cheese starter (special of the day) was a bit steep, and $40 for half pasta special (2x the other pasta dishes). I'd maybe give them another try for the apps and drinks, then maybe again not.
Superb food- creative menu, perfect execution. Service was amazing, wine list is curated to the menu super-well and has a range from great values through super cool rarities. We'd go back again in a second... and will on our next visit!
