I love the Nantucket Hotel, I love the service, and the ambiance, and the overall atmosphere. I usually eat at Breezes during every trip to Nantucket. Because of it's size it is usually easy to get a reservation. However, I came here during the Summer for the Lobster dinner on Mondays, and then the other night for Stroll dinner. The quality of the food has gone down this year and the price has gone up astronomically. I didn't realize the pre-fix menu came with just two courses. I paid $80 for a soup and some sub-par scallops. Dessert wasn't even included. However, what was automatically included was the the gratuity. I dont normally mind that, but that explained why our waiter rarely checked in on us. We sat and waited for our check for a good 10-15 minutes. I wanted another seltzer water, but he never came to check on us, which in retrospect was fine, because it was $4.00 for bubbly water from the bar. In summary, I will skip Breezes on future trips to ACK.
The food was pretty good. Broad variety. Well prepared. We had to wait about 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, which was long. Other than the long wait, the service was good. The large room we were all seated in was a banquet style room. I felt like I was at a wedding. No real charm to the setting. Just a bunch of tables in a nondescript room. Price wise, was about $200 each all in for Thanksgiving dinner. Somewhat overpriced for what was provided. Would not go back for a future Thanksgiving meal.
A truly festive Thanksgiving with delicious food and entertainment. It was our second year in a row and will be back again next year
The food was fair, but overall bland including the Brussels sprouts, stuffing, mashed potatoes and turkey gravy. We understand that some of the wait staff may have been inexperienced. However we did not see our waitress from the time she delivered a cocktail until after we had finished our dinner. At that point, we were ready for coffee. I did not even have the opportunity to order a glass of wine with my dinner. The dining room was huge and the best I can say is that the decor was shabby chic. The oysters and butternut squash soup were very good, as were the desserts. The reason for choosing this venue was that our usual Nantucket Thanksgiving restaurant was undergoing renovations. To sum this up, and we do not like being so negative, this experience, at a cost of $150.00 per person, was so very lackluster!
Service and ambience was spectacular. We met the owner and then bumped into him a couple more times....very nice gentleman. For the price I was not very impressed compared to quality of food. Now I'm from Texas and certain spices and taste just may be different in New England. But we dropped over $400 for a Thanksgiving lunch and compared to how I enjoyed the food it should have been more like $75 a person. I guess we paid for the experience.
Loved brunch at the Breeze. The service was friendly and accommodating, food delicious and the owner was there to make it extra special for our group, welcoming us and even giving us a tour!
Thexservuce was impeccable. We went for the burger specials and they were scrumptious. The ambience was trendy and casual. Parker was an outstanding host.
Wait staff was excellent . Loved the presentation of food. We will definitely dine here again.
We had a terrific experience. The staff was personable and responsive, anticipating our needs before we asked. I loved the beat salad and the burger. My daughter also enjoyed the full menu of squash ravioli. Parker was particularly warm and welcoming.
Frederick was an amazing waiter! He recommended great meals and was super attentive. Can't wait to come back here!

A charming location in a charming hotel. We sat on the terrace. The food was excellent. Possibly the best or at least on par with the best of anything we have had on the Island. Friendly welcoming staff.
Food was just okay- neither great nor disappointing. Value was poor though. Service was very good - thank you Wayne
The clam bake at Breeze was a great experience. Live music, delicious food for all ages and excellent service all around. We will make this a summer tradition!
The food was Ok. We ordered medium rare steak that came out well done, but other meals were better. The service was disorganized and slow. Despite the name Breezeway, you won't be outside unless you specifically request it and there is no breeze.
We really enjoyed our family dinner. It was a Clambake buffet with Lobster!, steamed clams and mussels, corn on the cob, as well as great potatoes and salads. The deserts were nice but did not really like the petite smores offering - not kid appealing and dry. The music was wonderful and not overpowering as we sat right next to it. Our waiter was absolutely attentive and wonderful! I think his name was Walter. He has been working there a long time. Service in general was excellent! We had two young boys with us and they loved to choose off the buffet and ate well.
