Sandbar at Jetties Beach Bar & Restaurant

Even on a day in late September it was a lovely place. I can imagine a summer day when it is probably full of guests.
The food was good but like much in the US you pay too much..
Never get used to the system with tips of that magnitude...

the food was amazing but the service not so good. the ambience is great with a wonderful view to the beach. we recommend the fried shrimp sandwich!

Great spot for lunch with your toes in the sand! The turkey BLT and the Painkiller were excellent. Don't turn your back on the seagulls, they'll get ya!

Good beach bar, good cocktails and good chips

You come to the Jetties for the experience (and excellent frozen drink options) not the food - not that it’s bad, rather nothing standout. Would recommend to anyone who wants to try out an affordable, scenic restaurant option on island.

What can you say about this place, it's just hands down awesome, so much fun being out on the beach and hanging out at a place like this. The bar staff where we sat was fantastic, they hustle but they take care of you. The music was great and once the live band kicked in it was even more awesome. The food is standard for New England pub Fair with playing a choices, it comes out fast and hot and you won't be disappointed. They have a whole selection of fresh and frozen cocktails to choose from, and a gift shop just to the side of the outdoor bar. On a hot summer day this is the place to chill out.

Mixed reviews. If you get a table, great. Mostly good waitstaff. At least the ones that aren’t drunk or coked up. But, I’ve rarely seen anything as offensive as at the bar. The bartenders today, around 4pm on Sunday, August 18, an older guy and 2 women would routinely ignore people waiting to order and help their friends behind us. I had a woman behind me, screaming in my ear for her drinks. Gal behind the bar made her drinks while ignoring those of us trying to get drinks at the bar. Also, the servers would yell at people not to stand and order drinks where they place the prepared table beverages. Totally understandable. But, they mostly seemed to target people of color. And, that doesn’t apply to everyone. Namely, the friends of the bartenders. They could stand there all they want and get instant refills. All white. I left.

The food was great but I would say that the menu needs more work. For a place in front of the beach it doesn’t have that many cold options. The drinks were good and the Cuban sandwich too. But after a hot day at the beach I would’ve wanted something cold
