This is a must for us when we visit Nantucket. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous and truly serene. The servers have always been super nice, and the food is very good. True, it’s a bit pricey, but like other reviewers have said, you’re paying for the incredible scenery - and we think it’s worth it!
Such a great spot! Super friendly people, tasty food, and the view is just stunning
The Bistro has been an annual must-stop for my family when we’re on island.
Today, despite clouds and cooler temperatures, my wife and I had a very nice lunch in the Bistro’s beautiful setting.
Service was excellent and our grilled fish sandwich and lobster salad sandwiches were perfect. My only small complaint was that my New England clam chowder had numerous lumps of flour as a result of inadequate whisking.

The patio has the perfect atmosphere. Beautiful views of the water and the right amount of sea breeze. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. They are friendly and helpful. I recommend getting their truffle fries no mater what you order as they are some of the best I've had!
Do note that to get to the patio the only way down is stairs. So not ADA friendly.
Perfect spot to catch up with friends or have an afternoon date.

Drinks were weak. Service was bad. They don’t let you hang by the pool unless you are staying there. We got hammered and had fun. Good ‘ol Nantucket.

One of my favorite places in Nantucket. The staff is wonderful. The food and drinks superb. Love the pool and beach setting. One of the best and rarest of places and experiences in Nantucket. A definite must visit on your Nantucket check list!
Nice place with a decent view ?

Gorgeous spot for lunch close to the beach. Quite private and I was surprised at how good it was given the 3.5 star rating. This is not a bar on the beach and footwear is required so maybe other reviewers, like me, were expecting something a bit more basic and not so pricey. $28 for the humus plate, which I enjoyed but is probably the most I’ve paid anywhere for a humus appetiser.

We came to dine in after a day at the beach at 4pm, and after an excessive waiting time of no service I walked up to the bar and was told the kitchen was closed despite no notifications or signs. I agree with previous reviews about lack of service.
The menu did seem appetizing, but we wouldn’t know.

The most poorly run restaurant on Nantucket. Called for reservation specifically asking whether they were serving lunch. Biked out there only to be told that they were not serving lunch. second time that this has happened with them. Not worth the drive or ride.
A typical tourist trap, don't be seduced by their location. Even drinks are overpriced and served disproportionately. The food is just acceptable, that I can't say about their service.

Low quality establishment. Took almost 45 minutes to get my $26 “BLT” sandwich and the BLT is in quotes because there was barely any bacon on it. Fish tacos were disgusting. Won’t dine here again.
Lobster.Cobb.. it's so big, you can split it. ?
Absolutely horrendous and mean and drunk bartender at the beach side bistro - please avoid at any circumstances. He took our credit card and said he would bring the check when he will feel like ….
