I’m sorry to say but the chicken joy was terrible. Literally no flavor and we could barely get it down. The little flavor that was there was not tasty. Meat very tough. Seemed boiled. Ordered 2. 3 of us barely got through one. Biggest waste of $54 dollars. We did mention to staff that we didn’t like the chicken when we were asked since one plateful was left. Nothing done. Rice and veggies not great. Alkaline noodle w veggies pretty good. …And the chicken had no sides. Just the boiled chicken on a plate. Lastly, no a noodle bar there were maybe 2 or 3 items with noodles. Disappointing for sure.

Definitely give the chicken burger a try, it's the best I've ever had! The veggie dumplings are awesome, and there are lots of healthy options. I like the place a lot.

Quality, deliciously prepared meals. Every dish was excellent. Service was terrible from front of the house, to bar to server. They seemed more interested in chatting with loval bar “friends” them tending to guests at tables in a timely manner.

Both the cod and the har gow were extremely salty to the point of being almost inedible. The char siu is not bad.

Great spot. Was hoping for more noodle dishes given the name. Best to share a bunch of dishes, roughly 2 per person. It was hot when we were there, could have used some AC during dinner.

This restaurant seems to be trying a little too hard to be everything at once, there’s no clear identity or consistent energy, which made the atmosphere feel a bit scattered. That said, it didn’t take away from the quality of the food or the overall experience.

The wine wise they had a decent selection with fair pricing. We started with the octopus, which was beautifully delicate, though it came on a bed of what seemed to be taro, unfortunately too mushy and not the best pairing. The truffle cod was the highlight: cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and nicely complemented by microgreens, which also worked well with the octopus.

We ended the meal by sharing the ramen special of the night. It was generous in size and rich in flavor, definitely comforting.

The space itself felt a bit too dark and moody for my taste, which clashed with the eclectic menu and overall tone. Still, despite the identity confusion, it was an enjoyable dinner.

A delicious and creative menu - check out this cute little place for a quick bite. Casual and rustic but fun - and great for a group. The shrimp noodles were incredibly tasty as were the vegetable dumplings- the best I’ve ever had! Also try the charred broccoli and the bbq spare ribs. I was really excited to try the miso truffle cod but it was very salty - although that was disappointing everything else was fabulous. Ride your bikes there it makes for a totally Nantucket experience!

Sat outside on a beautiful evening and really enjoyed everything we had. The miso salad stood out as excellent, and the bao was really good. We had the alkaline noodles with shrimp as well. Super impressed with everything.

The food is mediocre at best. First, they served us raw shrimp “har gao.” See photo (inside is completely raw shrimp). We then were a bit icked out once we were given that dish. Additionally, what was served is not har gao, more so a large shumai.

We had the vegetable gyoza/steamers, and honestly they were simply not good. The flavor was lacking, but it was weird that the inside was a mix of puree and whole veggies. And then we had the fried rice and it was mediocre. Meat was not flavorful but the rice was so-so.

Atmosphere was fine. Definitely wouldn’t go back!

We did takeout and were so impressed. The quality of the food was incredible (and I feel like a takeout experience is usually sub par). Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

Misogi is a gift to the island. We're foodies and this team can compete with any high-end restaurant across continents. The food is fantastic! We'll be back.
