It took some time for me to find a place that did blended ice coffee drinks but lemme tell ya… they did it right. I got the chocolate monkey and it was amazing. The drink was so smooth, no giant chunks of ice and it was delicious. The drink was pricey and it was clear to me the staff at this place were overworked and kind of no nonsense. That being said, they did a great job.
I dunno. It just feels like a lot of places on Nantucket can charge what they want without having to really put in much effort. Their homemade cream cheese is good, but it was a $2 up-charge for a mini ramekin. This seems like a nice local spot, but paying $6.50 for a bagel that I have to spread myself makes me roll my eyes a bit.
I come back here every visit for their chai latte—the best in town and the best I’ve ever had, in fact. This is a cozy shop with lots of fun items to buy from books to ornaments to Tervis Tumblers. There are a lot of great drink options. Definitely try the warm chai latte and drink it outside on the benches.
